Water wheels do not turn
Unplug the unit from the A/C outlet. Turn the fan unit over, and with your finger, spin the fan as fast as you easily can. Tooth like projections should rotate out of the lower most part of the assembly. These teeth drive the wheel. If they don't come out, the problem might be in the seating of that silicon rubber nipple, or the "tooth" assembly could be gummed up with algae and deposits. You can wash it out. The problem with mine is the teeth work, but the wheel still doesn't move. I have emailed the sales office for help. I love the unit's performance, but it is temperamental. Good luck, and please post, if you fix it.
Can airwasher fan repair during
It will not help purify paint fumes and could be a source of combustion. It is best to ventilate using open windows and positive air pressure from a fan blowing from another room into the fume area. Hope this helps some:)
How can I make my own venta Airwasher Water Treatment?
I use white vinegar and hot water. I soak the disk for a few hours. It's amazing. My venta is 10 years old. I also use different scented oils in mine to fragrance the room. I use it daily. I got a new venta but like the older model better. It is my sleeping machine it provides a white noise that I sleep very well to. The new one is too quiet and seems more fragile.

Venta Airwasher Venta LW14
When you add water, you should notice bubbles (just a few) on top of the water. When the water no longer has bubbles, the additive is shot, and you should wash out the tank. We have dirty air, and it takes about 2 weeks for us. I spray it with Murphy's Soap to soak a few minutes and wipe it out with a sponge. Rinse. Spray the wheel similarly (all over) and spray with a kitchen hose, as hot as possible. You may have to repeat. I clean my wheel between tank cleaning, so it doesn't build up. You should use the additive, because the water has to be slippery to work with the wheel. Maybe you can find a different "wetting solution," that would be cheaper; Venta gets an arm and a leg for it. Good Luck. I like the performance of mine, but it is temperamental.

Remove the grid assembly.
Remove the 4 screws holding the top on.
Gently remove the top as there are wires connected to it.
Once removed, find the microswitch assembly on the side. There will be 2 green wires going to this assy board (PCB).
Examine the bottom of this board. On both my units, the PCB wascorroded badly on the trace that runs from the center lead to the wireconnection. This will cause the microswitch to quit working.
What I did was soldered a wire from the center contact of themicroswitch (center piece coming through the board. There should be alarge solder pool) to the wire connection at the edge of the board. This just 'goes around' the corroded PCB trace.
Worked fantastic on both ionic breezes and took about 5 minutes for thesecond one. The first one took over 2 hours just to find the problem.
I hope this helps.....good luck...thanks for rating my effort....the Fang.
Honey well air purifier 17007 fuse blew. how to
The fuse is located inside the control panel. It is soldered to the circuit board, not mounted in a typical fuse holder. You will need a Philips screwdriver to disassemble the unit. You will need a soldering iron & solder to remove the fuse and replace it. You may want to a multi-meter to check the fuse. If the unit just stopped working, it could be a number of other issues than the fuse. The starter capacitor for the motor could be dead or some other issue. You must take precautions against electrical shock. You may need a technician to safely perform some repairs.
I would like to clean
The disassembly is simple. Remove the four screws you noted at the top of the unit. Each side panel will then slide up about a half inch. Pull outward and they're off. (The bottom is held on by tabs on the unit and slots on the panels). Clean it with a combination of vacuum and compressed air. Wipe the blades down with a mild cleaning detergent. (Spray it on the rag and not on the unit to keep the electronics safe). When re-assembling, be CAREFUL...the two panels are not identical. One has the spot for the light bulb. Carefully replace this panel so as not to break the light. Align both panels well by pushing down so the slots re-engage the tabs, and you're done.
