I have been given an Anthony Worral Thompson juicer by Breville byt and unable to get the mesh try out to clean it. How do I remove it?

However reliable and durable your Juicer is, at one point in time it will need Replacement of parts. It is Great to buy a model from an established brand like Breville, where Juicer parts or accessories for these juicer machines are easily available.

Sounds like the belt that drives the blades broke. You will need to bring it back to the store in which you bought it from if it is still under warranty. Otherwise, get on the Breville website, register your product, and then find out about the warranty and returns.

Do you have the manual for you juicer? If so, see if there is anything listed in the back about trouble shooting and where to get help. If you don't could you write in with some more information about the make and model of your machine and I will look for some links to sites which may be able to provide assistance. Sorry not to be more helpful, but I could do with a bit more information.

The overload should be as you describe if there is interaption then you should push for reset and here the click. However from your other description this is not your issue. The overload is usualy trip off when you have a urn or damage wirring of the rotor and this when it rotates for some seconds or minutes and trip off. And of course when the juicer have been used excesivly.
Your problem is most posible the starting capacitor which is in parralell with the rotor which is responsible for starting the motor. First you should remove all attachments knife and filter from the top and start to be sure that nothing is blocking the motor to run and if it still freeze then you should check the two carbon contacts of the rotor conetion points if they are in good contact. If they are ok the you should replace the capacitor.

The coupling on the juicer basket end is no big problem, but the coupling on the motor end is a big problem as you need to stop the motor from rotating to unscrew the coupling. This means remiving the base of the juicer which may be difficult because of the type of screws involved.
