Bought a Bosch Drill. Chuck packed up after five months. Mega Mica Eastgate say chuck not covered??
not much can be done if the dealer will not warrant the chuck
if the bosch name appears on the chuck, call bosch direct and make a complaint but if it doesn't then get a new and better quality chuck and replace the chuck on the drill
remember that ordinary key operated 3 jaw chucks are not designed to used in a hammer operation continuously as that damages the screw mechanism of the chuck especially if the drill bit is over 5/16 drill size
if that is your operation, invest in a special masonry drill such as ramset or hilti or other makes of that sort

Drill sparks
To Short carbon brushes or the electric field is not in balance look if one of the brushes is shorter then replace the electric field but if its on both brushes the same blue and burning smell then the armature has gone , beware of the price and great differences between the kind of hammers.

Csb 500 re
the ancre and / or a part of the electric field damaged. drivinggear must be replaced if ancre was gone too , but in most cases its not worth to repair if it has its working hours on it.
