Blomberg Refrigerators - Page 4 - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

The refrig has been set to run and cool the interior too low. Turn off the refrig of awhile and let the ice melt. The ice build up may also been caused by poor sealing around the doors and too much humidity in the air. Once the ice has melted, turn it back on and set the temperature inside the refrig to 37 to 40F. The Freezer needs to be set at 0 or about -2F. If the controls don't function right, they may need replacing or a temperature sensor may need replacing. That should be handled by a service tech.

Likely door gasket not sealing right and compressor running too long before shuts off. Loose gasket will allow for moisture to enter.
