What settings on a universal charger do I use for a Black & Decker 2.4 V cordless screwdriver

I would say that a output voltage of not more than 2.8 volt and the output amp should not exceed 60% of the Amp hour rating of the battery. Example if the battery is a 2000 mah battery the charging amp should not be more than 1400 milli amp or 1.4 amp

Chuck Shaft becoming detached from drill motor

Many times there is a allen head screw in the center of the chuck bottom that screws into the shaft of the drill if this screw is missing the chuck will unscrew off the shaft. Many times depending on the size of the drill it is a 10/32 allen screw about 3/4" long that screws into the shaft thru the open end of the chuck.. Sometimes it is a Left handed thread.Check the illustrated parts breakdown for the drill to get the correct part. Hope that helps

Circuit diagram for charger for Black & Decker

You can contact a Dewalt Service Center to see if they have the diagram. Black and Decker is Dewalts lower priced line. A quick search on their website did not reveal anything. They may not have the diagram. As far as I know there are no parts available for the chargers so you may have a hard time locating the diagram. Try giving Dewalt a call.
