I have a banner 3

1. Check that you are not turning the diverter too far or not far enough in the SHOWER direction. 2. It's possible that the the center part of the diverter that shuttles between ling up with the TUB hole or the SHOWER hole is installed backwards. In the SHOWER position the water pressure keeps it in the SHOWER position and when water pressure drops it defaults to the TUB position. When installed wrong, the water pressure pushes it to the TUB position. Hopes this helps. Let me know via message or rating (if helpful)

How do i identify my outdoor faucet, cannot really read the numbers there is an arrowhead logo with a diagonal banner across it letters nw and asse Py9 maybe?

This is as you may have guessed, an Arrowhead sillcock. You should be able to replace the washer if you can find the bibb screw. Hold a bucket in front of asillcock and have someone turn the water on for 2 seconds. The bibb screw and what is left of the washer should shoot out. If you lose these parts, you can take the stem to the nearest plumbing supply, lowes, home depot or hardware store that carries Arrowhead sillcocks. They should be able to either give you a repair kit, or a whole new sillcock which you can take apart and just use the stem. It must be the same length to work properly. Before you install the new stem, make sure the bibb screw holding the washer in is tightened. Good luck!

We installed the tub faucet

it is due to the rubber seals on back of valve stems, they are not seating right to stop complete flow of water. just remove stem and replace. if it still leaks, the valve seat may need be replaced. most just turn out to replace ( with a square tool ) found at most hardware stores etc. good-day !

Clean and or replace the cartridge. Cleaning the cartridge means taking it apart and it is much easier to just replace it but it's worth a try if you are so inclined.

WHEN MY SHOWER IS TURNED ON THE WATER ALSO FLOWS

The seal is not a 100% seal, but to access there are two types, one type the tub faucet screws on and the other style is retained by an allen set screw. if you have the set screw type, you will notice a slot on the underside of the faucet, at the tub wall end, look up in there. If you see an allen, loosen it and pull the faucet straight off. if no slot or allen, unscrew the entire faucet, counter clockwise (top to the left, for those digital clock people...).

THIS PROBLEM IS DUE TO, POOR INSTALLATION,,,, THE ONLY SOLUTION IS TO ADD A SMALL VALVE IN BETWEEN THE SHOWER HEAD AND THE WALL,,, WHICH DEPENDING ON THE FINISH OF THE FIXTURE, ONLY COSTS ABOUT 15 DOLLARS AND IS VERY EASY TO DUE.... MAKE SURE WHEN PURCHASING THE VALVE THAT IT WORKS,,,,, BY TURNING IT TO THE "OFF" POSITION AND BLOWING INTO IT,,,, IF NO AIR ESCAPES IT IS GOOD...
