AMD Ryzen 5 5600G causes BSOD after instaling graphics driver

t is possible that the issue is related to a driver conflict or compatibility issue between the graphics driver and the operating system. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Update the graphics driver: Download the latest version of the graphics driver from the AMD website and install it. This may resolve any compatibility issues that were present in the previous driver version.
  2. Run Windows Update: Check for any available updates for your operating system and install them. This can resolve any compatibility issues with the graphics driver and other system components.
  3. Check the device manager: Open the device manager and check if there are any issues with the graphics card or other devices. You may need to update or reinstall the driver for the device.
  4. Check the system memory: Use a memory diagnostic tool to check if the system memory is working properly. Faulty memory can cause BSOD errors.
  5. Check the power supply: Insufficient power supply can cause system instability and BSOD errors. Check if the power supply is adequate for the system configuration.
  6. Disable or remove any third-party antivirus or firewall software: In some cases, these programs can interfere with the graphics driver installation or cause conflicts with system components.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be a hardware problem with the graphics card or the motherboard

Sounds like the wrong bios file has been installed. Try to reload the original, at least it worked.

I used jumper bios reset

Hi.

The most probable reason you are getting the bad checksum error is you have to set the date and time because you have cleared the CMOS and reset the BIOS.
You should also get a message that says press F1 to load defaults or press a certain key to access setup. Access setup (BIOS) and set the date and time. That should take care of the bad checksum error.
Another good idea is make sure the motherboard battery is not dead either.

Regards.

I have a Windows 2000 ASUS PC and a legacy Compaq W17q 14' monitor

It sounds like you have an older computer and monitor. Windows 2000 is a legacy operating system that is no longer supported by Microsoft, and it may not be compatible with newer hardware or software. If you're having trouble getting your ASUS PC and Compaq W17q 14' monitor to work together, there are a few things you can try. First, ensure that your PC is set to the correct resolution and refresh rate for your monitor. This can usually be done by going into the display settings in Windows 2000. You may also try adjusting the settings on the monitor itself, such as the contrast and brightness. Additionally, you may have to install the correct drivers for your monitor in order for Windows 2000 to recognize it. You can check the manufacturer's website for the drivers that are compatible with your monitor and Windows 2000. It's also important to note that older hardware may not be able to support the features and resolutions of newer monitors and may not be able to achieve the best display quality. If you are experiencing display issues, it may be worth considering an upgrade to newer hardware and a monitor that is more compatible with your current operating system.

WiFi not working...Function F2 is not turning WiFi

Sounds like the internal wireless card my have gone bad. They tend to do that from heat exposure. You can try uninstalling the card then rebooting, to maybe see if it will bring your wireless back to functioning. If your f2 key stopped working and it was at the time the wireless was turned off, this may also help.A bad wireless card can also effect other components attached to the motherboard as well. Its either a keyboard malfunction or most likely the card has gone bad.Hope this helps a little. Thanks

Why does my PC starts then restarts when I hit the start button?

There could be a number of reasons why your PC is starting and then immediately restarting when you press the start button. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the power supply. Make sure the PC is receiving power and the power supply is working properly. Check the outlet and circuit breaker to ensure that the PC is getting electricity.
  2. Check the hardware. A faulty component, such as a failing hard drive or RAM module, can cause the PC to start and then immediately restart. Try removing and reinserting any removable hardware, such as RAM modules or expansion cards, to see if this resolves the problem.
  3. Check the software. A software issue, such as a corrupt operating system or malware, can cause the PC to start and then immediately restart. Try booting the PC in safe mode and see if it starts and stays on. If it does, there may be an issue with the software on the PC.
  4. Check for loose connections. Make sure all of the cables and connections inside the PC are secure. A loose connection can cause the PC to start and then immediately restart.
I recommend having a mechanic diagnose the problem in order to determine the cause and recommend the appropriate repair. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Where to find new power supply board (EADP-86AF B) for ASUS PG221 monitor

Instead of replacing the whole board, look for bulging (top) or leaking (bottom) electrolytic capacitors. Usually the failure is one or more of these inexpensive components which you can order from Digi-key.com and have delivered next day.Try to stick to the correct value (uF) but you can go over voltage. do NOT go under voltage. for instance you can replace a 1000uF 16V cap with a 1000uF 50V cap, but not with a 10V.

My compaq is power on for 2 second and off , how to fix is thank you

You need to print this out-on someone else's computer. Hope it works for you!Remove the battery and charger/ac adapter/power cord from your Compaq Presario F700 laptop, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds to discharge any residual current inside the Compaq Presario F700 . This clears your RAM and is like a hardware reset. Replace the battery and charger/ac adapter/power cord and turn your Compaq Presario F700 laptop on. Boot in "safe mode". As it starts up press F8, the computer ask you if you'd like to start in safe mode. Highlight "safe mode" and press enter. See if your laptop is booting up ok . If your Compaq Presario F700 boots ok, do the following, Try System Restore first, Start Menu->All Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore. Choose the most recent date before you the encountered problem. If it doesn't work, try the next date. If System Restore does not fix it, as a last resort, you might need to fdisk, reformat your laptop hard disk clean and reinstall OS, that usually fixes all bugs. Before going that route, try following, Uninstall unnecessary programs and applications. Scan with a antivirus program Scan with a spyware/malware program DEFRAG C: CHKDSK C: Clean up and repair registry problems with registry repair software of your choice If the problem persists, did you check if it could be your Compaq Presario F700 laptop power cord or power source problem? Defective or insufficient power supply might cause error messages that are misleading. Take the battery out and power on your laptop with the charger only. Make sure your Compaq Presario F700 power jack and charger plug tip are securely connected. Did you notice the power jack loose? You can find laptop power jack on ebay. Fixing and soldering the power jack requires professional skill though. The charger green/blue LED should be on. If not, replace the defective charger. Compaq Presario F700 laptop battery charger, especially its power cord/cable, lifespan is limited and does not last forever, consider buying a lifetime warranty charger online from company like www.topmic.com

An operating system wasn't found. Try disconnecting any drivers that don't contain an operating system. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart and over and over what shall I do

You can go into the BIOS settings to see if the hard drive is shown there, if it is not then it is toast. You can also take it out and use another computer with a converter to test it for other issues. Or you can just replace the hard drive.

Asus A6R. I had to replace the battery because it emptied itself within 10 minutes.

wrong battery , sellers on ebay lie about them. many have no clue at all so only buy the battery stated in your users manual by technology type , and voltage, cell counts. (and phyical sizes and form factor) Asus A6R is a note book PC. the pack is custom sized (phy) snap in battery pack module. the tech is rechargeable lithium with 8 cells (series /parallel conn) 3.7v per cell. capacity 4400 mAh , 14.8V charged. like this. https://www.replacement-laptop-battery.com/asus-a6r-battery-14756.html learn not laptops charge. the charger is not in the power AC pack at all it is a chip on the mobo of the PC. main board. so there are 3 parts. 1: the DC /AC power park. warm never proves charging works. 2; the charge CHIP on mobo 3: and the batter, so never have just 1 battery so you know what is wrong, and AVOID NOS. AND THIS IS BOGUS 10.8V 4400 mAh ASUS.COM TELLS YOU THAT IS AND WAS WRONG. AND 10.8 Divided by 3.7 is 2.8 cells, how can that happen?, easy reading typo's online. and is bogus. sorry buy only new batteries.

Can i put nVIDIA geforce 8600 on my p5sd2-vm

Yes, your Asus motherboard will support the Nvidia GeForce 8600 PCI-Express graphics card.
However one thing you should consider. The 8600 card is SLI compatible but the motherboard only has one PCI-E x16 slot.
You will also need to make some changes in your bios.
In order to help you configure your system for a PCI-E graphics follow these steps.
1. Uninstall your current display driver software through windows control panel. Windows may ask you to restart your system, do not restart. Shut windows down which will shut off the system.
2. Unplug the power cable from the system & open your case.
3. Install your 8600 card. (Double check it is installed correctly & if needed has the extra power cord connected to the card.
4. Re-connect the power cord.
5. During boot up enter the bios by pressing the Delete key every couple seconds.
6. Once in the bios click the Advanced tab, see top of page 2-19 in your manual.
7. Than open Onboard Device Configuration
Open North Bridge Configuration, see page 2-22
Change Primary Graphics Adapter to [PCI-E]
Change Internal VGA to [Disable]
Change Share Memory Size to [Disable]

8. Save Bios changes & exit. Your system will auto restart.
Once windows has finished loading install the 8600 driver software & directX 10.0. You can also go to nVidia & download the latest software driver @
