Cloth stuck under agitator in washing machine.
there is a bolt under the fabric softner dispenser (if you have one) if not, its a plastic cap on the top of your agitator which pops off by hand or a butter knife.. then there is a bolt under there that holds the unit down..grap the bottom of your agitator and loosen the bolt and remove it...then lift up carefully on the whole thing..careful not to loose the seal and bolt to put the agitator back in place....good luck..
Afd2535des not cooling in any department, when I opened the doors, the lights work and the led temp control lights up. I hear a fan start and 5 seconds later the fan stops n leds shut off.
- Check the thermostat: Make sure the thermostat is set to a temperature that is low enough to cool the refrigerator. If the thermostat is not working properly, it may need to be replaced.
- Check the condenser coils: The condenser coils on the back of the refrigerator should be clean and free of dust and debris. If the coils are dirty, the refrigerator will not be able to cool properly. Use a vacuum cleaner or a brush to clean the coils.
- Check the fan motor: If the fan motor is not running, the refrigerator will not be able to cool properly. Check if the fan motor is receiving power and if it's spinning freely. If the fan motor is faulty, it will need to be replaced.
- Check the start relay: The start relay helps the compressor start up. If the start relay is faulty, the compressor may not start and the refrigerator will not be able to cool properly. If the start relay is faulty, it will need to be replaced.
- Check the compressor: If the compressor is not working, the refrigerator will not be able to cool properly. Check if the compressor is receiving power and if it's running. If the compressor is faulty, it will need to be replaced.

Amana PTH153B50AM PTAC where the heat runs intermittently.
i'm not familiar with your specific unit but ..sounds like an electronic gas value has gone bad or has a bad connection when that happened to my friend it wasn't that expensive to have it fixed .. BYW it acted like this for a while then stopped working completely
My Amana works fine. Then when it gets to rinse it won't advance and the rinse just keeps blinking
It sounds like there may be an issue with the remote control you are using for your Polaroid TV. If the remote is able to turn the TV on and off, but cannot change channels or scan for antenna channels, it may be a problem with the remote's programming or compatibility with the TV.
One solution to try is to reprogram the remote to work with the TV. The instructions for doing this can usually be found in the user manual for the remote or on the manufacturer's website.
If that doesn't work, you can also try using a different remote control to see if that resolves the issue. If the problem persists, it may be a problem with the TV itself and you may need to contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
No power to Amana ice and water dispenser. Rest of refer runs fine.
It's possible that the issue could be with a micro switch located on the ice maker cabinet that is activated when the prong on the back of the ice/auger tray is inserted. It's also possible that there could be another issue with the dispenser, such as a problem with the wiring or a malfunctioning component. I would recommend checking the wiring and testing any other micro switches or components that are related to the dispenser to see if they are functioning properly. If you are unsure how to do this, I would recommend consulting the user manual or contacting a qualified technician for further assistance.

Amana bottom freezer, all working OK, but very noisy freezer. How do I fix it?
There are a few potential causes of a noisy bottom freezer. Here are some things you can try to fix the problem:
- Check for frost buildup: Frost buildup can cause the freezer to become louder as it has to work harder to keep things frozen. To check for frost buildup, remove all items from the freezer and unplug the fridge. Then, use a hair dryer to melt any frost that has accumulated on the evaporator coils (usually located behind the back panel of the freezer).
- Check for loose parts: Some common sources of noise in a freezer are loose screws, washers, or other small parts. Check for any loose items and tighten them as needed.
- Check the evaporator fan: The evaporator fan is responsible for circulating air within the freezer. If the fan is not working properly, it can cause the freezer to become noisy. You can check the fan by removing the back panel of the freezer and listening for any unusual noises. If you suspect the fan is the problem, you may need to replace it.
- Check the compressor: The compressor is responsible for circulating refrigerant and cooling the freezer. If the compressor is malfunctioning, it can cause the freezer to become noisy. You can check the compressor by listening for any unusual noises or by checking the compressor with a multimeter. If you suspect the compressor is the problem, you may need to replace it.
If you are unable to fix the problem yourself, you may want to consider contacting a repair service. They will be able to diagnose and fix the issue more accurately.
Amana 10D microwave fan stays on, doesn't shut off until unit is unplugged and re-plugged.
If the fan in your Amana 10D microwave stays on and doesn't shut off until the unit is unplugged and re-plugged, there could be an issue with the fan motor or the control board. Here are some things to try:
1. Check to make sure the vent is clear and unobstructed. If the vent is blocked, it can cause the fan to stay on.
2. Check the fan motor. The fan motor is responsible for turning the fan on and off. If it is faulty, it can cause the fan to stay on continuously.
3. Check the control board. The control board is responsible for controlling the functions of the microwave, including the fan. If it is faulty, it can cause the fan to stay on or not function properly.
If none of these solutions fix the issue, it is possible that there is a problem with the microwave itself. In this case, it is recommended to contact a professional appliance repair service for further assistance.
Amana axp-20 overheated magnatron g2 error
this is generally caused by the magnetron overheating, you need to check the cooling motor for function and that the airways on the machine are not blocked as this is a commonly looked over reason for overheating magentron triggers.the other fault is a failed part
My Amana top load washer fills & drains but doesn't wash?
Does it fill, stop, have a space where the wash would take place and then drain, fill, and do the rinses, but no agitation? It sounds like the motor, or the control board / control knob depending on the unknown model. You need a service call if power resetting doesn't make it work.
Furnace blower won't stop running
Usually when the furnace blower motor runs all the time
The limit switch or rollout switch is usually open or bad.
The furnace board is seeing that one of those switches is open, so it brings the blower on to try to get the heat out of the combustion chamber area, so the switch will close. But if the switch is bad and won’t close, the furnace board will keep the blower running continuously.
