I have a PCI card with USB and Firewire ports, external and internal. For the internal Firewire (1394) connections, it has an 8 pin header (individual pins) and the standard large firewire connection. I need the definitions of the individual pins so I can connect my front Firewire connector.

It is a PCI card - not connected directly to the motherboard.
You can see the 8 pins that are connected to the same lines as the regular firewire connection, but I have no documentation on what pin goes to what for the Firewire, and the 8 pin does not seem standard (I have seen some 10 pin header diagrams, but not 8).
ok fair enough.... any writting/labels on the pci card would be helpful
motherboard name and model ?
