Sorry. Nikon cameras have thicker bodies than Canon cameras. Even if there was an adapter with zero thickness, the Canon lens would be too far away from the sensor or film plane of a Nikon camera to allow it to focus to infinity. This would make a Canon lens unusable for most practical purposes even if you could fit one onto a Nikon camera.

Not realistically possible, due to the incompatible lens to focal plane distances. If you found one it would either not allow infinity focussing or would need to incorporate corrective optics which add cost and ruin image quality.

All such adapters mean that the AF won't work, and focussing and image composition must be done with the aperture fully open before manually closing the aperture down to the desired value for metering and shooting. With Nikon G lenses the aperture is fully electronic, so the lens would only be operable at its smallest aperture.

You can get an adapter to allow Nikon to Canon EOS though, but as both cameras have plenty of excellent quality new and used lenses and resale values are high it's a pointless exercise.

I would like to use my Sigma 600 Mirror lense on Nikon M80 digital camara body lense was used on a Pentax Super A camara before can it fit

Sorry, no. If it fit onto a Pentax camera then the lens has a Pentax mount. The Nikon (I assume you mean the D80 digital camera, or perhaps the N80 film camera) has a Nikon mount. Since the Nikon mount has a deeper flange distance than the Pentax mount, there are no adapters available to allow you to fit a Pentax-mount lens onto a Nikon camera.

Will an auto focus Vivitar Series 1 100-400mm work on a nikon d80

Vivitar Series 1 lenses were available with a variety of lens mounts for different camera makes. If the lens has a Nikon mount then it will work on a Nikon D80. If it has some other mount then it will not fit.

Is asigma dl 70x 300 lens compatible with nikon d80

Assuming the Sigma has a Nikon mount, yes. Sigma makes lenses for a variety of cameras, and each camera maker has its own mount. A lens intended for a Canon camera, for example, will not fit onto a Nikon camera.

Will the sigma 75-300mm 1.4 5.6 fit in a nikon d80

Assuming the lens has a Nikon mount, yes.

Sigma makes lenses for a variety of cameras. Different manufacturers use different lens mounts, and they are not interoperable. A lens with a Canon mount will not fit onto a Nikon body, for example.

Will a Sigma DL Macro Super 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 Lens fit my Nikon D80?

All after market lenses are specifically designed for a brand of camera. They are for Nikon, Cannon, Minolta etc.. They can not be cross branded just as you could not use a Nikon made lens on a Pentax.

Will this lens (the Quantaray AF70-300) fit my new Nikon D5000? is there an adaptor lens if not? thank you.

It depends on the mount. Quantaray lenses are available for a wide variety of mounts. If you specifically buy the one with the Nikon mount, then it will work. If you buy one with, say a Canon mount, then it won't fit.

Canon on nikon

The Canon lenses are FD mount which means that you will need to get an adaptor to convert the FD mount to fit the F mount on the Nikon. An example of the mount can be seen here:

http://www.rugift.com/photocameras/canon-fd-nikon-adapter.htm

As for the speedlights the hotshoe mount will accept them on your Nikon, put them on with fresh batteries and try them out.

Can i use a Quantray AF LD 70-300 mm lens with my nikon d80? Thanks.

That depends. If the Quantaray lens has a Nikon mount, then yes, no problem, it'll work on the D80. If it has a different mount, then it won't fit onto the D80.

Compare the Nikon d80 to the new d90. Can I use all my manual focus lenses from my Nikon film cameras? Also, all my filters and flashes.

All old lenses will work on the D90 the same way they work on the D80. Filters depend on the lens -- they either fit or they don't -- the camera has nothing to do with that. I wouldn't use old flashes on new DSLRs.

There really is no difference between the D80 and the D90 as far as lenses and flashes are concerned.
