You need to find where you saved the pictures and open the file up. Then you need to copy all of the pictures you want to save to the flash drive. After that open up the flash drive by going to start/computer then clicking the flash drive name. after that you should be able to paste the pictures on the flash drive,

Transfer photos

I've never heard of that. Try copying the picture files to an external drive or a usb flash drive. Then you can put them anywhere you like on another computer requardless of whether it's 32bit or 64 bit.

How do I transfer pictures from PC onto flash bar?

Hi Cheryl,

This is a fairly simple procedure if I am understanding your query correctly.
Assuming that the 'flash bar' in question is a standard USB flash memory stick, firstly click on "My computer". This will show you a view of all hard drives and CD/DVD drives installed in your PC.
Next, insert your flash drive into any USB port. Your PC will now detect the flash stick and will add a new icon to 'My computer' which represents your flash stick.
Take note of the drive letter assignment given to the flash drive, eg. "Removable drive E"
Now browse to your pictures you would like to transfer and right-click on the picture. This will open a drop-down menu and from here you simply select the "Send to" option from the drop-down menu.
It will now present you with a sub-menu from which you select your flash stick. ie. "Removable drive X", X being whatever letter your PC has assigned to the flash drive.

Please feel free to message me should you need any further clarification. I will gladly reply with further explanations.

Best wishes,

I want to take the photos that I have in kodak file and copy them to flash dirve.

sheri359,

If you are using Kodaks easyshare program then you can simply "drag & drop" the pictures onto your flash drive. You can also trying looking on your "C: drive" (hard drive) for your pictures. Normally Kodak Easyshare stores pictures at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\Shared Pictures\Kodak Pictures. Once you find your pictures all you need to do is select all the pictures you want to copy and paste them into your flash drive.

If the pictures are on your camera then connect your camera to the computer and then click on "My Computer" on your desktop or under the start menu (if you are using Windows). Then if a few seconds you should see a drive pop up that will say "Kodak*****", proceed to double click on that and keep clicking into the folders until you see your pictures. Once you see your pictures copy all of them. Once copied open up "My Computer" again and select your flash drive. Once inside your flash drive then right click in the window and select "paste". Your pictures should start copying over to your flash drive. Once the copying it complete you are the safe to remove your flash drive.

Note: I am assuming that you are using a Microsoft Windows operating system. If you are using MAC OS X then it is slightly different but similar.
I hope this helps! Good luck!

I want to transfer data from my dial-up desktop, to my new laptop high-speed broadband. How?

Several ways:
1.) 4GB flash drive
2.) External USB drive (320GB or more)
3.) Burn CD or DVD on the desktop and copy to the laptop
4.) Connect them in a local or ad hoc network (not too easy)
I'm sure other expers will have more ideas...

Anyway, at the desktop, run the "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" to gather your desktop info, such as favorites, desktop icons, My Documents, etc:
[Start]
[All Programs]
[Accessories]
[System Tools]
[Files and Transfer Wizard] [Next]
At the desktop, answwer [Old Computer] [Next]
Cintinue to answer the questions
If you have a lot of music or loots of pictures, then just transfer the "Settings Only".

After a successful transfer of the settings, run the wizard again and transfer your "Data Only"

Hope this gets you started.

Windows asking me to format my flash drive

Just format your flash drive! Before you start formatting your flash drive, transfer all data from your flash drive 'cause when you format your flash drive, it will erase all the data. After you have formatted the flash drive, then you can transfer back the data to your flash drive.

Transfer files

If both computers have a CD or DVD burner/drive, you can put them on CDs or DVDs. If not, and they both have USB drives, you can use a flash drive or portable USB hard drive to move the files.
