My washer works fine up until it is time to rinse. Then the water trickles in and the timer doesn't seem to move forward. There were a couple of bursts of water, but mainly trickling in. Spin cycle works fine after that.

Resolve the water flow problem and your machine should resume correct function. Look for restricted screen and plugged orifices.

Dishwasher not completing cycles

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
If the cycle doesn't complete, check these:Water-heating cycleTimerWater-heating cycleMany dishwashers heat the wash and/or rinse water to a higher temperature, as the cycle calls for it. In these cycles, the dishwasher pauses after it has filled with water, waiting for the water to reach the pre-set temperature. What happens next, depends, as follows:On some units, the pause is timed and the unit continues after the allotted time. On others, the cycle can't continue until the water reaches the higher temperature. If you have this type of dishwasher and the water isn't being heated (say, because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues. When you repair the heating-system problem, the "cycle problem" is fixed too. TimerTimers don't often fail. But if every other part of the dishwasher seems to be working properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in one place--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault. Dishwasher timers can't be repaired. If yours is defective, replace it. 9_25_2012_6_48_09_am.jpg

How to move around brandt wm 550

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem: It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer. It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.

STYLEMATER 4214164, AGITATOR SEAMS TO BE STUCK,

are you sure it's aggitating?common problem with direct drive washers is the motor coupling breaks and the transmission can't engage with the motor or you could have a bad transmission.usually you'll find oil leaking out of the ******. you can check this and the coupling at the same time.one other thing, when in spin open the lid and then close it and listen for a clunk and see if it spins, that would be the clutch on the ******.if this happens see if you can get it to spin in any other cycles,i've had bad timers do this,if it spins near rinse but not in the final spin and if you open the lid, close the lid and then the clutch falls and it does spin i'd say you have a bad timer, you can watch the timer,if it moves all the way to end but it doesn't spin in the same spot on the final spin but does spin in any other cycle it's the timer.but check the coupling first.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9K1KHEogf3c copy and paste,it will show you how to get at the coupling.

Okay, my fisher and paykel gwl15 is almost brand new. i moved it into my new house tonight. I tried washing my laundry and it starts to fill but then stops at the light that says "wash" and wont...

Sounds like you have low water pressure or a blocked hose inlet screen. take the hoses off and check to see if there is any debris in the screen on the washer hose connection. Make sure the hoses are not kinked and the valves are turned up all the way. Also check to see if you have those special flood proof hoses with the automatic water shut offs. I have had those not work properly many times.

Ok so my washer runs fine until rinse or spin cylcle then it kind of works for a minute then does a weird thing where it clicks off and on after a couple minutes it stops completely after 5 or so more...

It really sounds like a timer issue. The electrical contacts inside the timer are worn and not sending voltage to the motor. It is what we call a "dead spot". If it really works well in other cycles that would be a tell tale sign.

Water doesnt pump out to start rinse cycle

Seems the timer is sticking at the drain cycle. Manually move the timer and see if this helps. If this works then the timer is bad.
