Your battery might be faulty or your battery contacts in need of cleaning. 1. Clean the battery contacts. a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth. b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera. Please make sure that you are installing a fresh/ fully charged battery c. Turn the camera on. 2. Without the memory card, turn your camera on. (If it works then it?s your memory card that is faulty) 3. Please test with the a different battery If you do not have access to another battery Try these steps instead: Please take the battery out of the camera. b. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works you will need to replace the battery. If you camera doesn?t switch on you will need to order a no power repair with KODAK or a new cable.

Sorry that is unfortunantly impossible. A
webcam is cheap to buy anyways.

Make sure that you are installing a fresh/ full charge battery
Remove the battery
Clean the metal contacts on the battery using a clean cloth

Pls test with an alt. batt.
If you do not have access to a dif. battery.
Pls. take the batt out of the camera. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works you will need to replace the batt. If not you will need to order a No power repair.

get a quote for repairs from a camera shop or junk it

In any still mode, press the cursor-down button (marked with a one-handed clock) to cycle through the available self-timer modes. Start the self-timer by pressing the shutter release button.

The cameras do that only when there isn't sufficient power to run the camera, your battery needs to be replaced, or if your charging it, the charger or the battery may have gone bad.
