Canon FD lenses date back to before the mid 1980's. They use a totally different mounting system to the later EOS mount which was a redesign to suit the needs of auto-focussing.
Unfortunately they are chalk and cheese: you cannot realistically fit an FD lens to an EOS camera.
Your fix is to sell the lens and to buy one with an EOS mount.
BTW: there are some FD to EOS adapters but they significantly degrade the image quality and the FD lens then has to be used in a cumbersome totally manual way. Obviously focussing would be manual as it's not an autofocus lens, image composition would need to be done with the lens aperture fully open before manually stopping down the aperture ring for light metering and image capture. You could not use all of the automatic exposure modes on the EOS body.
