The E27 code isn't often listed in Bosch manuals but relates to the washer door lock.
The E27 error flashes on the washer LCD screen and stops the current load. Unplug your washer for 30 minutes and then plug it back in to reset the code.
Open and close the door two or three times to reset the sensor. Sometimes the door has been closed too hard and the sensor reading fails.
You may need to replace the door lock assembly on the washer.
No, turning off the power to the washer doen't clear the code. The very simple fix is to leave the washer in the error (blinking) state for about 3 minutes and it will clear itself. I was advised by Bosch "customer service" to call a repair technition. Don't do that. This is a very simple fix - save the money and hassle of a repair call. That is nothing but a racket. The Bosch customer service person should have given me the very simple procedure to clear the code over the phone.
Thanks for the tip...this worked perfectly...fixed the problem just as you said...thanks!!!
