I bought a new Toshiba laptop In September 2007, almost a year ago. From the start, the laptop was moving quite sluggish with the new "Windows Vista".
In June 2008, my laptop was giving too much trouble so my friend decided to downgrade it to XP, suggesting that the type of processor I had may not have been as compatible.
After completion of the downgrade, I saw a vast improvement. However, all my music and sound card had gone missing. My friend is out of the country and will not return soon enough.
Can anyone help me? How can I install a sound card for my Toshiba Satellite A135-S4656? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!!!
Try the download from the link bellow. If this driver doesn't work, then you will need to get the exact Realtek sound card model you have and check Realtek and driverguide.com for the XP drivers.
I'm sorry, I forgot to post the link, ooops.

Press the "F8" key before the system boots into Windows. This BIOS screen appears.
