I need to replace the chock absorber on my Bosch Washer WFL2060. Most of it looks pretty simple, but not sure how to extreact the plastic pin anchoring the shock to the drum. Does anybody have a suggestion or the service manual?

There is a clip that needs pushed down. The easiest way is to put a socket on the pin over the clip. Then just pull the pin out. Sometimes the pins can be a pain to get out. I have taken a hammer and tapped the pin til it gets to the clip. Then push the clip down and tap the pin out.

The motor probably isn't working - I suggest you begin by checking the brushes, which wear out and need replacing periodically.

HOW TO REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBERS 2006 RAV4

Difficulty: Easy-ish
Time: About 1 hour
Tools: Two 17mm spanners - ring and open. Long spanners may help.

As the chart below shows, it's quite normal for a shock absorber to have traces of oil around the top. However leaks like level 3 to 1 mean the shock absorber (SA) needs replacing.

Probably a good idea to replace in pairs.

As always, apply hand-brake, chock the opposite front wheel and without the vehicle raised, slightly slacken off the road wheel nuts.

Need clear plastic cover for front of door

I have one. My new Bosch washer came 2 months ago and I removed it immediately.
The problem is that it arrived scratched up somewhat, which is another reason I removed it as this will only get worse with a plastic cover.
The cover also makes it harder to see into the machine while it's in operation.
To be honest, I'm not sure why you would want it on there, but if you really need one then mine is available.

Wont final spin , had loud knock but quit

You have a broken shock absorber and you need to relpace it. Remove the lower inspection panel by unscrewing the 2 screw at the bottom of the panel below the door. Remove the panel and look inside on either side of the wash tub. You will see the 2 shock absorbers and one or both will be broken. There are 2 plastic pins holding them in place. On the pointed end of the plastic pin, there is a tab that needs to be depressed (use a flat screwdriver) so that when you pull on the other side with a plier, the pin will come out. Go buy the replacement shock absorbers at your local appliance shop. To install, put the absorber in place and push in the plastic pins. Make sure the correct end is up. Replace the front panel and the job is done.

Bosch WFL2060

Check the Vibration damper rods to be sure that...
1. They are there and mount is solid.
2. If they are broken in 1/2.
3. The plastic knuckle mounts are not missing/broken.
4. There is oil in the shock absorber/spring section of the rods.

Also - there are suspension springs on the bottom of the tub that could be broken and/or missing.

Replace/repair as necessary.
