SOURCE: Hi!!! I bought car with a grundig car 2002
Unfortunately your code will not be available for free (or cheap) from anywhere on the Internet as this Serial
Number is not in the availableGRUNDIG database.
It
requires access to the original manufacturer`s database which is only available
from your Main Dealer .(and a few of the larger Professional Radio Decode
Specialists)
Otherwise
try a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop who will electronically
"read "/ recode the memory chip (EEPROM) using a laptop and
specialist software.
Testimonial: "Thanks"
SOURCE: grundig car radio - car battery died - radio now
First make sure that the code has not been noted somewhere
within the car (underneath the ash tray, glove box , rear of sun visor etc)
To see if your code is available here for free then the radio will have to be
removed from the dashboard (and if you are lucky, someone may have written the
code on the casing ) .
If not then POST A BRAND NEW QUESTION
quoting the radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the LETTERS+NUMBERS on
ANY LABELS ,BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING
Also quote the MAKE of CAR
note: Unfortunately not all radios can be decoded using the
Serial Number
Otherwise try your Main Dealer ...........or take it into a
Decode Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip
(EEPROM). This takes a few minutes and shouldn`t be too expensive
SOURCE: grundig radio code
The radio will have to be removed from the car dashboard .
Then please quote the MAKE + MODEL of your radio plus ALL
the LETTERS and NUMBERS on any LABELS ,
BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING.
Also quote the MAKE of CAR it is fitted into.
