Look for your sound card model and install required drivers.

If it worked before, then something happened. Check the volume control, check to be sure the sound has not been muted (check the sound properties in the control panel). Everything can be fixed!!! As for your PS2's sound you yourself must configure out how its sounds gone,for that you must first change your PS2 connector cable other then power one,if changing that cable does not fix your problem then ask us about further assistance.Hope that solves your problem.

Your lucky you got that out of it, this is a common problem with this unit, the solder that is used on the sound card doesn't like heat and melts. You can take the sound card out and clean with alcohol for a temp fix, but this is only a temp fix. Sound card cost approx. 340 bucks my fix was a sound surround system. sucks hey!
