I have a 350hv viper alarm on my Yukon. Just last night when I was trying to lock the truck, the doors didn't lock and the horn didn't go off like it normally does. It sounds like there is no power on the battery. the door locks bearly move and the horn sounds like its dying. I checked the battery and its fine. All the fuses are good. I also tried to disconnect the battery to see if it would reset the alarm but no luck. Thank you for your time, hope you guys can help me.

SOURCE: Alarm System

No it won't reset your alarm system. As part of the bit-writer program, anything you set or change in the alarm menu will remain the same. The only thing that can happen is if you have a DEI 520t back up battery, it may trigger the alarm upon re-connecting. No biggy.

My viper alarm system when armed and disarmed there is no sound from the speaker

Either the system is in valet or, the chirps have been deleted or, the siren is broken.
If the LED is on solid the system is in valet. open the door, press lock, unlock, lock on the remote to remove valet.
Press and hold the lock button. This activates the car finder/panic. The siren should begin to wail. If it does, the siren works. If it doesn't and all you see is the aprking lights flashing the siren is defective.

I have DRL on my car and with the factory alarm remote when you press either the lock or unlock the head lights or the parking lights come on. With my Viper 2 way remote no lights come on when pressin

The Viper alarm (and most other alarms) are designed to be connected to the parking lights. The headlights are not meant to be flashed continuously, as when the alarm is triggered. If you want the headlights to activate with the alarm then, the parking light wire from the Viper needs to be connected to the headlight wire instead. NOT RECOMMENDED.
Although the Viper alarm may or may not have a horn output (you didn't mention the model) ,it can be connected and it can be programmed to sound either when the alarm is triggered or all the time(depending on the model).
By the way, the Driving while Running Lights are seperate from the Sentry Illumination Lights. The Sentry Illumination Lights are designed to illuminate the area in front and around of the vehicle before and after entry. They can be programmed for the time that they will illuminated before and after entry.

Last night the alarm went off locking the keys in the car. We had to use a hanger to get the keys out and now the alarm will not shut off?

The reason your alarm system is going off is because you used a coat hanger to open the door. This only proves that the system WORKS! It simply thinks that you are trying to steal the car - so it is screaming about it to tell on you!

To get the alarm to turn off, close and lock all of the doors (don't forget the keys :) ) Then use the KEY to open the driver's door. This should disarm the system and the security light will stop flashing and the horn and headlams should turn off and everything should be back to normal.

I think I messed up the remote programing.. When I press to lock the doors they do lock but the horn doesn't honk anymore.. The blue light on the dash does not light up either.. I can still remote...

If the led is solid blue when the key is out of the ignition that means your in valet mode. Which would disable the alarm, but not the starter.
Simply turn key to IGN position then back to OFF.Push the valet button which is on the antenna next to the led and the led should turn off.Close door on vehicle and lock vehicle.Siren should now chirp.
Cheers!!

My 350hv just shuts off randomly. I can arm it and come back later and it is off and my doors are unlocked!

Sorry, but it is my opinion that car alarms are really, really foolish.
Cars are extremely hostile environments for delicate electronics.
Adding alarms is begging for problems that will leave you without a car.
If you lock any valuables in the trunk, out of sight, there is no reason for an alarm. All an alarm will do is either fail and prevent you from driving, or fail and get you a ticket for a false alarm.
