Hello! I cleaned my saeco and now the button for purging won't stop blinking. I tried to let the water get out by the little drain (steamthing) but the water will not flow. I already cleaned the pipe....Help!!! I still didn't have my morning coffee!!!

Hi, first the water tank must be full. Turn on the power button, wait for it to heat up-approx 2-3 minutes. You must purge the air out of the system by pushing the button for making coffee ,and at the same time you must turn counter-clockwise the steam knob(frother). Until you see a steady stream of water then only your system will be purged of air. Make sure to never run out of water, or you will have to repeat this process over again. You will also have to fill the dispenser with espesso beans. Good luck with purging the air, it`s a little tricky but really worth it when you indulge with a nice shot of Espresso...
I had this problem too. I was beside myself wondering what to do. I took the machine apart but there was nothing wrong. It was stuck in an infinite descale cycle. The 5 green buttons never blinked to say it was done. What finally fixed it was to close the steamer valve to where water was being being restricted from the steamer wand but still a little water was spurting out. It finally quit emitting water and the 5 lights blinked and the infinite descale cycle completed. This model espresso maker was a lemon and been nothing but problems. jeff
It means ventilate, purge the air out of the system by turning on the knob, the pump should run .Keep it running until the red light stops blinking. If not there's a blockage in the line.
ok you have a priming problem
press the warm water button and open the valve . Normally that should prime it.
Other wise you have in the box the primer tool of saeco.
Just press the button and push the water in after opening the knob. http://cerinicoffee.com/Saeco_User_manuals_free.asp
give you details.
did you ever descaled the machine not with vinegar but with real descaler normally that does the trick 1 part water 1 part descaler not vinegar put it in water cointainer start machine open side valve for a few second close it leave it in there for 15 minute repeat untill empty rinse very good with clean water that stuff is very corrosif cheers
I don't know what you mean by disarming the grinder. Unless you are talking about using the bypass.
If that is the case there is a button on the panel that has waht looks like a scoop. Push that button and put a scoop in the bypass door and then push the button for what cup size you whant.
Regarding the taste of the coffee. It may need a cleaning and service. Try googling "saeco repair" and find an authroized Saeco repair center and have a good service done on it.
