I noticed yellow oil under my Hoover 550m. It workes fine, but now and then it makes a strange noises in the spin cycle.Should i get someone to service it?

If your noticeing the yellow oil around the inside of the cabinet located about 4-6 inches up and the oil continues around the entire bottom of the unit. This is usually a sign that your transmission is starting to have some issues and leaking the oil that is inside of the transmission out as the unit spins. where are you noticeing this yellow oil on your unit? If you see this type of oil residue as I described In the location that i described above then your unit is soon to be in need of a new transmission. In the appliance repair world we term this oil ring described as the ring of death for the unit unless you wanted to install a new transmission into the unit I await your reply and further clarification on where this yellow ring of oil is that you are seeing.
