If your noticeing the yellow oil around the inside of the cabinet located about 4-6 inches up and the oil continues around the entire bottom of the unit. This is usually a sign that your transmission is starting to have some issues and leaking the oil that is inside of the transmission out as the unit spins. where are you noticeing this yellow oil on your unit? If you see this type of oil residue as I described In the location that i described above then your unit is soon to be in need of a new transmission. In the appliance repair world we term this oil ring described as the ring of death for the unit unless you wanted to install a new transmission into the unit I await your reply and further clarification on where this yellow ring of oil is that you are seeing. Thanks
Rick

My Hoover 750L starts its spin cycle but when goes to a really high spin it makes a noise.

Check your mounts and support springs---one of them maybe broke or loose---since you haven't described the noise this is the best i can come up with. GL

Hoover 1200

Remove all excess water by draining to a bowl. Clear filter and drain pump blade and all will be fine.

The machine made a slight squeek noise each time it slowed down and then started up again (durring the wash cycle) We also noticed a strange odor. It was almost a asbestos burning type of smell. Then later...

It probably mean the spin brake has failed. If everything else is functioning OK and it is not making anymore strange noises it will be OK however when you open the lid(during spin) if it takes more than 10 seconds to stop then the brake should be replaced. If you need anything else please let me know.

Hoover AM1100 Washing machine, wont final spin.

The noise, is it a grinding noisy like worn bearings?

put the washer on drain only - is the pump working ok, take the filter out to see if it is turning ok, does that make a strange noise?

If the pump is fine, its back to that noise, it could be be a faulty tacho on the motor ( regulates the spin speed) or motor bearings - has the motor spindle a lot of play on it?
Let me know how you get on and good look!

Hoover washing machine 200m, making the worst sound ever...

never continue to use a machine that makes any noise it shouldn't you can only make matters worse and could do severe damage that can't be repaired, sound like something in the drum or something loose outside the drum, like suspension etc based on the info given i would just say ask an engineer to have a quick listen, many do a free estimate
