(E4) There is a round door on the lower front of the washer. There is a small hole near the door. Put a small screwdriver blade in the hole, push in just a little, and you can rotate the door clockwise, the door will come out and you can get to the problem. When the water is drained in machine the door is open able.

Immediately facing you is a black connector, about 4 inches (10cm) in diameter. When you unscrew this, all the water left in the washer will spill out onto the floor. Use a plastic bag to catch this or a small pan.(later models have a drain hose?) The black connector unscrews counterclockwise, and takes quite a few turns. Once you have it out, you'll find the source of your clog. Remove it, clean out, screw the black connector back in. You can check with rinse, if you want to make sure there are no leaks. Put the door back on and rotate. I will try to come back to you re. the wash, wash.

Usually means there is water in the base pan and the flood safety has been activated. If you tip the unit forward a touch you will most likely find that water is expelled from the bottom front. The machine should work but obviously the source of the leak has to be found. Check door gasket for tears etc, water valves and drain hoses.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: bosch logixx 8 washing machine showing F37

F37 is because of operating the unit below specified temperatures.

Pressing the temperature button twice shows a snowflake and sets a defrost function.

Hi. Have a Bosch Loggix 8 VarioPerfect WAS32440AU. It has been displaying a uPd code. Was hoping that you can verify the issue. TIA Brian.

First, of all it is a Bosch "Logixx".

Not a whisper of your fault code anywhere... go to this site and towards the bottom you will see a FORM to ask directly about your specific model AND your exotic fault code! Are you sure you have that "code" right?

http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fault-codes/laundry-fault-codes/3310-bosch-logixx-was-series-washing-machine-error-codes

Then I found THIS bad news!
"There are a number of different version of the electronics used in Bosch Group made washing machines and washer dryers that are sold as Bosch, Siemens and Neff and most of them use the different fault or error codes when they have a problem or a spare part fails. This particular article relates especially to the range of Logixx washing machines that have an ENR number in the format of WAS****GB/** where the asterisks replaced by a number for each one."

Find a long list of fault codes here:

http://www.drdishwasher.com/troubleshooting/manufacturer/bosch/error-codes

Yours is not on the list? Still sure about that number?

Bosch Logixx 8 with a f27 error- what could cause this?

The code means that the pump out pressure is to high
this can be caused by a partial blockage in the filter, the pump, the hose to the drain or by a drain hose that is to long or up to high above the washer
it can also be caused by excessive foam
