The garage Remote control was working normally at first then for now reason now it just opens the garage door but doesn't close it. I checked the side sensors they look OK & clear, and I Re-Programed the control remote but it still doesn't close the garage door.

If it does not go down with a single push of the wall button but it will go down if you hold down the wall button, then you have a wiring issue with the safety photo sensors. a broken wire.

Try closing the door with the wall switch. If closes then you possibly have a bad remote.. If it doesn't close and the light bulb flashes repeatedly then you have a problem with your safety eyes.

It could be the garage door motor that is acting up. Try closing it with the button in the garage. If that's not the case, you may need a different garage door opener.

Garage door opener remote does'nt work when the garage door is shut

Probably you have a weak battery in your remote transmitter. When the garage door is closed it requires a stronger signal. Open the remote and replace the battery.

Garage door will not close from remote or car. Garage door will open from remote or car; however, it will not close using these controls. The only way I can close the garage door is to press on the manual...

Try reprograming the opener to each remote, if this doesn't work then the command/radio module in the opener is damaged and needs to be replaced. Hopefully you can find one or you will have to replace the whole garage door opener. Good luck.

The garage door opener inside the garage doesn't open or close the garage door. How do I diagnose? The model # is: 41A5389-1B

The model number you give is a part number for the logic board. Does your remotes work? Is it only the wall control that isn't working?

Garage door will not close when using the remote or garage door button. it will open, however. it can be forced closed by holding the garage door down. i have had this problem before . i have...

Check to see if your child/animal security beam is working correctly. It is an "Electric Eye" mounted about 12 in off of the floor on two mounting points and one side shoots an infra red beam across to a receiver. These points must be reasonably aligned to flash a beam (cannot see) from one point to another. This beam keeps the door open if it is interrupted . If it is not aligned, then the door opener sees a problem and will not close the door electrically. You must aligned the beam by bending the transmitter or receiver untill you can close the door by the remote. Also check to see if something placed in the garage is not blocking the beam first.
