The front audio panel doesn't work properly, so I disconnected it from the motherboard but the back panel audio doesn't workat all. I check Mach Speed's web site and if it's changed from the factory settings, the back panel audio might not work. I think I removed a little black thing from the audio connection panel but I don't remember which pins it was on. I tried a few combinations but it didn't work. Any idea how I can find out which pins it should be on?
Just refer to your motherboard manual which is given to you at the time of purchase of the motherboard.. it will be clearly given with the pin numbers to connect the front panel or back panel audio ....
thank you bye any doubts you can reply me i am always here to assist you rate my solution ....

1. check if your front panel is connected to your motherboard at proper port2. check "expert mode" on your via hd audio deck, click "advanced options" and check "redirected headphone" (THIS WILL UNCHECK "INDEPENDENT HEADPHONE") and uncheck "enable front panel jack detection" this should solve your problem.
Just to make sure desktops almost never have built in speakers.
1. Check that your speakers work. Try them with an MP3 player or other device to make sure they work.
2. Check that the speaker is plugged in the right socket. Play something on computer and switch around the plug.
3. In windows press START->Control Panel->System->Device manager.
Right click on Sound device and write down the make (Company and a model number).
4a. Google their website and go to support->downloads/drivers and download the appropriate driver.
4b. If its an INTEL sound device you might have to look up the motherboard as it might be bundled with the motherboard driver.
The Picture below shows you the locations of the places to put those wires are in relation to your motherboard. In yellow is the power switch and such. and the audio connection is in red.
The Pin layout for the power and other connector are as follows:
the layout for the audio header is as follows:
To install the cable that connects a front panel audio solution to the front panel audio header,
follow these steps:
Turn off all peripheral devices connected to the computer. Turn off the computer and disconnect the AC power cord.
Locate the front panel audio header (J8A1).
Remove the three jumpers from the header (this disables the back panel audio connectors).
Install a correctly keyed and shielded front panel audio cable.
Connect the audio cable to the front panel audio solution.
To restore back panel operations
follow these steps:
1. Remove the front panel audio cable.
2. Install a jumper on pins 5-6 (rear R channel).
3. Install a jumper on pins 9-10 (rear L channel).
4. Install a jumper on pins 1-2 (mic).
5. Replace the cover.
try to check the connection on the board wether its proper if no then check the manual of the board it will help u also check the setup in the bios also there r setting in some program of the sound software check this should solve the problem

On this motherboard you can enable or disbale the rear panel audio using jumpers on the motherboard. The jumper is labelled JAUD1. I'm assuming that if you select the rear panel, then the front panel will not work. This info is on page 36 of the PDF manual which can download from MSI. Good luck, the link to the manual follows:-
The front audio panel will only work if connected to motherboard. Try
connecting to the audio panel in the back of the computer (directly
to the motherboard). If the rear panel audio plug (green) doesn't work
then the audio drivers that came with the motherboard might need to
be installed. Check your audio driver status with operating system.
Your Intel DG33FB board by default was already setup for use. Your board has been configured for independent multi-streaming 5.1 audio (using the back panel audio connectors).
Your board should have come with a shielded front panel audio cable to connect front panel audio as shown on page 45, item B. The pin out for the front panel audio header is shown on page 46, table 5.
If you did not receive this cable you may need to contact Intel.
Check the Intel link included, which shows the cable needed for either AC'97 or HD cabling; Audio standards: AC'97 and HD audio
Most motherboards will not play audio through the rear jacks when the board is connected to the front audio pins. Intel like other manufactures do not mention this in their manuals.
I don't believe that this motherboard supports simultaneous front and rear audio. That's the purpose of the jumpers; to route audio to the back panel when on and to the front panel when the front panel connectors are connected,
