I have an HP Touch Smart 300 and when the Caps Lock is on and the Number Lock is off there used to be a on screen indicator showing me. I have recently made some changes to my pc and now that light wont come on and i cant find out how? I really need this indicator as this helps when i have to put in my passwords.

You did not post the tablet brand and model name or number. I can suggest visiting the web site of that manufacturer to see their support pages, or just do a Google search for the reset steps for that tablet brand and model name or number. Most Android tablets use the power and volume buttons in combination to do a factory reset. It will erase everything but you get back a ready to use tablet..

1. From the Home screen, touch Apps.
2. Touch Settings.
3. Scroll to and touch About device.
4. Touch Status.
5. Touch IMEI information. Some devices may show the IMEI number within the Status screen.
6. Find your 15-digit IMEI number....

The Lock symbol needs to moved to the right to the unlock symbol by your finger.

This will then load the desktop and activate the touch screen.

Try and run your finger along the bottom of the LCD near the hinge- if it goes away, you could be able to resolve it by reseating your LCD cable. However, if it is in warranty, contact technical support- it's more likely to be an LCD failing than a loose cable (as it is unfortunately in my laptop's case)
