SOURCE: tape jammed??
Maybe your blaming the wrong people? Maybe your camcorder has a problem? with the power off, try pushing the eject button and the power button down together for a few seconds, but push down the eject button before the power. If that does not work, you will need to have the camcorder service and ask the servicer to please be kind to the tape as it is important. Good Luck

You have two options. You can search online for software etc that will allow your VHS video to connect to your computer. And get it on to disc that way. Or ask around your neighbours to see if they have a VHS video/dvd recorder combination and pay them to do it for you!

I believe that was vhs-c format.
Your best bet would be ebay.
Try searching for vhs-c adapter.
I found a few in the $10-20 range.
