I have nfs carbon in my pc. ihave a psp to. ihave to convert this carbon into that. what is the solution?

Do you want to play the carbon on your pc on or PSP ?

You can run older DOS-based PC Games such as Doom, Quake or Duke Nukem 3D on your PlayStation Portable (PSP) if you have the right software. Finding, downloading and installing the software is not too difficult. Once you have the proper configuration on your PSP, all you have to do is save the games on your PSP's memory stick and boot up the correct programs.

  • 1

Download the free program DosBox for PSP (see Resources). Save it to your PSP's memory stick under the "GAMES" directory. To do this, insert the memory stick in your PC's memory stick slot, or connect your PSP to your PC via the mini-USB cable provided by the manufacturer. Using Windows Explorer, open the memory stick or PSP and then navigate to the "GAMES" directory.

  • 2

Install the PC games you want to play on your PSP's memory stick. When the PC game install wizard asks where you want to install the game, direct it to the "GAMES" directory on your memory stick. It should then create a new folder within "GAMES," where all of the PC game's files will be located.

  • 3

Insert your memory stick into the PSP or disconnect the PSP from your PC. Start the PSP, and go to "MEMORY STICK" on the main menu. Scroll down until you find DosBox listed and start the program.

  • 4

Type "cd/games" using the PSP's virtual keyboard option at the DOS prompt. (Hit the circle button to bring up the virtual keyboard.) Then type "cd/" followed by the name of the game directory for the game you want to play. Finally, type the name of the executable file (".exe") listed in that directory. Your PC game should start.

  • 5

Troubleshoot your individual PC game by experimenting with the various game controls. Since the PSP obviously has fewer inputs than a PC's mouse and keyboard, you may have to use trial and error to discover how to play your game successfully on the PSP.

My psps keyboard shows up for one sec then goes away quickly before i can even type anything

    Hi,

Sorry about this please follow the steps i have outlined... put on your psp and go to System Setting > Restore Default Setting and press the O button. You can now restore to the default settings and go back trying to use the keyboard on your psp.

    This should work for you.

    Cheers

I need a copy of the p3 keyboard instructions

    Hi,
    F ound this online:

Yes, you heard right, a new keyboard driver is out for the PSP! Coded
by harleyg and Fanjita, it is a very useful application that allows you
to use pretty much any keyboard or similar input device as a native method of input. What plugins does **** have?

    -[IR] Infrared keyboard support

-[SIO] Serial I/O support via PSP headphone jack

-[CTRL] PSP button emulation (the ability to play PSP games from the keyboard instead of the PSPs regular buttons)

-[OSK] Support for detecting when PSP on-screen keyboard is active, and
the ability to interpret key presses on the keyboard to the correct
    button presses on the PSP.

    WARNING!

**** comes with an installer. The installer will ask you if you wish
to copy the **** prx to flash0 and if you want it to auto run in 1.50
game mode. Writing to flash0 may brick your PSP if something goes
wrong. BE SURE TO READ THE README AND user_guide.html LOCATED IN THE DOCS FOLDER IF YOU DON\'T WANT TO HAVE AN EXPENSIVE BRICK!

Thanks Fanjita and harleyg, and we look forward to the next release of this awesome homebrew!

Psp makes stuck key keyboard sound

i really dont think thats a problem unless it REALLY effecys you. it also might just be the default sound settings on the psp. or the speakers of the psp could be messed up. t unless the sound of games is distorted then i think you will be fine unless the keyboard just doesnt type.

    Is not compatable with psp

I just did a Google search. If you have a Quake, it will work. All other models will only work with Palms or Pocket PCs.

    PSP key screen

If you are talking about the nick name section, I think probably you got a hardware failure with your left trigger or right trigger. Give them couple of taps and try to go to the "keyboard screen" see if it disappears after .5 secs or something, if it didn't goes off immediately, you gotta repair your triggers.
