i have the tissot touch as well, and after about a year of use, the hands went all weird on me too, it was about 6 hours behind what the digital said, and when accessing the touch features like the compass for example the hands would no longer point at 6 and 12 instead they would point at 3 and 6, so i took it to one of the high end jewelers in the mall and they told me i would have to give it to them and they would send it off to Tissot, and after 6 weeks i would get my watch back and it would cost between 200 and 400 USD to get it back in working order,, sorry like you i had spent 800+ USD on this watch, i think they should fix it for a bit more reasonable price then that.... so in short i really dont have an answer for you, its just nice to see im not the only one that has this issue with the Tissot touch, but my advice is take it to a high end jeweler and see what they can do for you

alright pull the crown (thats the knobby thing) to position 2. Then turn clockwise until correct date. Now you should have the correct date.
