How to check voicemail messages

I assume you mean voicemail messages taken by voicemail service on your telephone line, the ones indicated by a flashing "voicemail" indicator on the phone. You may need to contact your service provider as not all systems are the same, but here's how it usually works. From your home phone, dial your own number so that the voicemail answers. Press the "*" button and you'll be prompted to enter your passcode. (The default passcode is usually the last 4 digits of your phone number, and you enter a new one when you go through mailbox setup.) Once you've entered the passcode and are in the voicemail system, voice prompts guide you through how to access messages and make setup changes. To process is usually the same to check your messages when you're away, although some service providers may give you a different access number to call. Again, check with your service provider for all the details if your system is different.

I am having problem with leaving messages. Everytime someone try to leave msg..voicemail say your memory is full, please hangup..but there were no messages in there..I also turned the machine off to see if...

Deleting messages (memory may be full).

Verify you do not have old messages on the the system. After the system plays all new messages, press Play/Stop again or from the handset Select 2:Play.If you find messages, delete them during or after they play.

After you listen to your messages, the voice message icon turns off. If it doesn't or if you can not receive messages, you should try to reset it: With the phone in standby, open the menu and select Global Setup; select VMWI Reset, then select Yes.

Make sure the Record Time is not set to Announce Only.

Trying to check the voicemail on phone. how do i do that?

If you mean the voicemail messages taken by your phone service provider when your line is busy, there are two ways normally used.

The first is to call your own number. When your message starts, press the "*" button. (Usually it's the star, but it might be different on your system. You might need to call your provider's customer service for details.) Then you're prompted for your passcode. Once in the voicemail system, voice prompts tell you which buttons to press to play messages, delete them and so on.

The second way requires you to dial a different phone number to get messages. You'll need to contact your service provider or check their website to find the access number for your telephone number if necessary.

When people call my home phone they receive a message saying my mail box is full. I have checked everything I know to check. I have no messages stored. What could be causing this and, please, what can I...

This is more than likely due your phone carrier providing you with a voicemail system on your phone that picks up before your answering machine. Depending on who you have you can call your own number from either another or your landline. Once you hear the message indicating that your voicemail box is full press the '#' key. If the mailbox prompts you for a password, enter the last 4 of your phone number. However if it doesn't prompt you, try the '*' key and enter the last 4 of your phone number as the password. If neither of these work then call your phone company and ask them to reset or remove the voicemail system, depending on your preference.
I usually see this system set up on phone systems that are provided by the same company as your internet service provider. In particular AT&T and Broadstripe both offer these kinds of voicemail systems and are usually activated when the phone system is activated as just part of the activation process. Feel free to comment, I'll watch this post to make sure you can get the help you're looking for, have a good day!

New Voice Mail

I have FiOs and used some of the info I gathered from this page to get my voice mail working now! To set up my voice mail I called my phone number (from the house phone), then pressed * when the automated system picked up...Your prompted to use a 4 digit pass code, which is the last 4 digits of your phone number (worked for me). From there I listened to the prompts and created a new "4 digit pw" as well as a "name password" by the end of the cycle. It then allowed me to listen to the messages on the phone and delete them! Phone finally says ready on it.
