Hello, I've had a philips HR1358 hand held blender for a couple years.. I'm not sure what happened but the blender part keeps falling out of the motor unit.. everything else works perfectly! The chopper still works, everything works, except for the stainless steel handle. I've lost the box and all the warranty info.. and the store I bought this from doesn't sell it anymore.. however, to me it seems senseless to buy a new one, if I could get the replacement part that I'd need.. please help!!! Ruth
I have the same problem, but my son broke my blender part and I can't find replacement parts. I just got off the phone with Philips and I am out of luck, ugh!I have the same problem, but my son broke my blender part and I can't find replacement parts. The plastic section of yy blade for the mixer part--not the handheld blender part--is cracking. I'd like to replace just that one part! The plastic section of yy blade for the mixer part--not the handheld blender part--is cracking. I'd like to replace just that one part!

My wife picked ours up at a rummage sale, and we've grown to love the little thing for making single servings of banana milk shake. (half a frozen banana, cover with milk, a drop of vanilla, and about one minute with the hand blender blade!) When my youngest boys dropped ours, I gathered up the pieces of plastic that connect the attachments to the motor shaft, and carefully super glued them together. I then wrapped the plastic piece with fine nylon thread and a thin layer of super glue and placed it back onto the motor shaft, then let it sit for 24 hours. It is now permanently attached to the motor shaft and good to go. Too bad Philips doesn't care enough to support their customers with a part their engineers designed to break and save the rest of the product. I'll remember this about Philips products when I buy an HDTV.

Use the A blade and make sure whatever you are mixing the egg whites in is scrupulously free from any grease etc. Make sure the bowl is clean and dry before you use it.
Best wishes
Good question! There is usually one screw under a label on the unit. After this screw is removed, the case can be squeezed, slid up or down or gently twisted side to side to open it. Each unit is different. I do not know this model specifically. Some cases ARE glued together and cannot be opened without breaking them.
UNPLUG it and try to turn the blades by hand. Put a drop of alcohl at the point where the shaft comes through the case and turn to loosen the blade. Next, put a drop ov cooking oil at that same place every time you're finished using it.
You might need to order one from the UK and pay delivery charges? I am based in the UK and it is tricky finding this part, but I think possible. I smashed my blender measuring jug this morning and I hope I can get a new one at [email protected] - just placed an order. You don't mention a model of yours but the one I found is compatible with several makes - check out this link http://www.viewpointdirect.co.uk/philips-measuring-jug---for-use-with-hand-blenders-573-p.asp. They deliver worldwide for a reasonably high charge. Else there are some other jugs you can find, without pictures though, which might be compatible with your make, at http://www.buyspares.co.uk. Good luck!
