Paypal does not recognise my e-mail address, yet i can click on the "different method" to retrieve e-mail address and put in all my details including banking and log on and trade that way. Why doesn't paypal recognise my email address? My account is unverified until i confirm my credit card details, is this why my e-mail address is not recognised? On my last purchase i clicked verify card details (accidentally twice) and was charged $2 twice but i still haven't received my statement with four digit code (that was 4 days ago). You can retrieve or change your PayPal email address if you can confirm the following account information:

• your name
• your ZIP code
• your phone number
• your credit card number

Here's how:

1. Go to the PayPal website.
2. Click the question mark (?) in the Email address box.
3. Select I don't know what email address I used and follow the prompted instructions.

Here's how to recover your password:

Depending on whether or not the seller uses eBay checkout, the steps to complete payment are different. If your seller does not use eBay checkout, they will send you an invoice or other payment instructions to help you complete your purchase.

You can easily retrieve your e-mail address and password.
