Press the AV button on the remote control & if it doesn't work, look for the TV button on the remote control; & if it doesn't work again, check the booklet that comes w/ the tv upon purchasing it or bring your tv to where you bought it & make use of the guaranty voucher for them to fix it for free, (try those buttons first before bringing it back to the store).

DVD Player is not tracking the picture

DVD players are dirt cheap now. Just buy a new one, and if your TV has HDMI, get one that will hook up that way.

No picture on VCR/DVD

Try to use AV cables they work better than RF cables in my opinion. AV out to TV in works everytime.

Sony DVD connected to HD system used to be regular colours, now it only shows shades of pink. .

dvd format must be compitable with tv-if it is compatible change your video cable with new good brand one from (radio shack)or any electronic store near you.

DVD/VCR connect to TV sound but no picture

I am sorry to say that this does not sound like a simple solution for your problem. It is hard to be sure without examining the situation but, If the video comes on breifly and, then goes away it sounds like something is heating up and, then opening up and, disrupting your video. It could be something in the stabilization. You will need to refer this problem to a qualified repair technician. If you want to keep the TV and, since it does work in TV mode I would suggest that if you want to use the RCA type jacks to connect a VCR/DVD or what have you that you get an RF modulator to connect thru the co-ax. This way you can connect your Cable/satelite to the co-ax connector and, your VCR/DVD player to the RCA on the Modulator. These are availible at radio shack and can also be found on ebay. I hope this helps at all. [email protected]

I have no picture in the TV

I have 2 of these units and I had the same problem. There is a button on top right beside the one where you open and close the cd/dvd tray.It is marked memory on top and progressive on the bottom. You need to push this button one or two times and your picture will return.Someone may have pushed it by mistake. These are very good units and well worth whatever you paid for them.If you have more questions email me at [email protected] Jack

Can't get picture after connecting to receiver nad speakers

Sounds like something got confused in the re-wiring...if the TV signal from cable doesn't involve a box, then the co-ax should go straight to the "cable in" or "RF in" on the TV, and the sound equipment gets connected to output ports on the TV. Otherwise, try bypassing the video connections on receiver or whatever and go directly to TV...My surround sound has video in and out, but I've never used them, it doesn't matter.
