Our 52 inch RCA tv Model #D52W20 will not come on when we power it on. If we keep hitting the on button it will eventually come on. When it first started it would come on in about 10 min now it takes about an hour. What should we do?

These units are famous for bad capacitors in the power supply. When the capacitors go it causes voltages to fluctuate out of range. You have to remove the deflection PCB to repair this. Also look for loose connections at the high voltage transformer. This can be a dangerous circuit to work on. Have a repair shop check it out for you. Thanks

Check the buttons on the front keyboard panel. Try cleaning them if that's no help replace the panel or the buttons.

This might sound a little crazy but, i had the same problem with my rca 50 inch, and he changed the bulb. which are pretty $$$$$125.00 at my tv repair person cost. the real cast was $219.00.Hope this helps you

Well you could always use a bigger fuse but I would not advise to do it, it could and most likely will blow tv not fuse. Fuses ussually blow from a short or power surge. If it is new or under warranty I would return it for replacement or repair.
