The dreyer starts ok but then buzzes with the error code F:09 have tried cleaning out the filter etc. we have not used it for a couple of weeks due to holidays.
Mine did this. Because the bottom left filter was blocked the overheat cut out had tripped. This is inside the rear of the machine accessible after removing the rear panel
As above.
Bosch Dryer WTS84507GB/03.
Mine did this. Because the bottom left filter was blocked the overheat cut out had tripped. This is at the rear of the machine and is accessible after removing the rear panel. Just push the little red button at the top. Remember to un-plug the machine first.
Same here, red button behind the back cover restored heat.
HAve been having this problem with my dryer. After one minute it shows filter blocked, altho the filter (in the drum door) was free. Now took the other filter, bottom left hand corner, out - and cleared it with a wooden skewer - cat hair and sludge about the size of a large cooking apple has been extracted, and the dryer is now running normally.
Also works on bosch WTE86301, little red button behind the insulated part of the back cover.
I had this problem too - called a guy to investigate (cost me €78) and it turned out to be a snapped belt which goes around the drum. Looks relatively easy to repair need to take a few panels off (requires a torque screw driver) and the belt has the part number on which (according to the repair guy) is easy to get. Hope this helps
Maplin sell the so-called security screwdriver heads. The original idea was to keep non-professionals out, but now a necessity to let them in otherwise more units finish up on the dump while you wait for Bosch to answer call out requests.Cost less than Pounds 5.
I had the same message although I cleaned out the condenser and filter at bottom. Took back cover off with special screwdriver and pressed red reset button. Dryer is working fine now, worth the 15 minutes effort!
I had the same error - took a bit of the drying load out and it worked fine! Shows that this can be a very simple error message sometimes, without having to take back off etc...
I had exactly the same problem with F 09 error code. Had to buy special screwdriver set (cheap), took the back off and pressed the red reset button. Ptoblem solved. Thank you.
