Not sure with this model but most time you can and I'm sure this is no different, look at the screws holding the hinge bracket, there should be identical screw holes to match on the opposite side.

Fist off before you get crazy replacing things make sure the camper is level when testing this. Gas will not run to it if you are not level. Also make sure the gas is turned on and make sure you have selected automatic or gas only on your fridge. Also give it about an hour before you test the temp. These take a bit longer to start feeling cool. If all of that does not work you will need to check the refrigerant, igniter(for the gas side) and the compressor. Also make sure the fuses are good to go at the main panel and that the breakers are in the "on" position
You will first want to ensure the RV is level.
If the RV is level, then open the rear access vent door on the side of the RV to access the rear of the refrigerator. Feel the coils just above the tank on the cooling system. These coils should be warm to the touch. If they are warm and the refrigerator is not cooling then you will require a replacement cooling unit. Also, the most common area for the Dometic 2652 to leak is just above the propane burner area. If it has leaked, you should see a yellow residue in that area. The cooling unit can be changed in approximately 2-3 hours with no specialized tools needed (Arcticold offers 7 day a week free tech support). The old cooling unit will simply unbolt and the new one bolts in. Check to see if you have a switch for storage, on, off etc. usually between doors, or near top right corner of fridge compartment. It may be in wrong position.
just tried moving the temp sensor closer to the "fins" in the fridge part...we'll let you know if it works. The sensor is placed in a plastic sleeve that holds it to the fins. I have moved it so the tip of the sensor wire touches the end fin.....
we have a americana dometic fridge in our rv which is one of the call backs told on the news , that can catch on fire due to defective part in the fridge! our fridge quit working as it turns out while camping at our spot. we had a rv teck come out to our site as our trailer is unmoveable. he said to get hold of the dometic fridge site that makes the fridges, as they will owe us for the part replaced yest., or the teck who assisted us! and the mileage he had to come. can you help us.? there are so many fridges involved out there and we weren't told of the defect. pretty bad on behalf of all the trailer sites that carry this brand of fridge, as they knew some time back!! it was from 1997 to now i believe!
