I am trying to split my cable from my bedroom cable box into my sons room Hannspree 23 inch TV. And he isn't getting the channels I think he should like the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. He use to with no problem when we were all "analog" , but now that it is All Digital, I am having problems. I just bought a Digital Cable 3-way split, and I am still having problems. I think there is a setting on the TV that is not correct. And without a manual to review - I am at a loss here. I could really use the manual and can't seem to find it. I would like to download one, but they want to charge me for it?

There seems to be a minor discepancy in the model number vs size but you can get to free manuals at the links below.
To the cable, in the change to digital the analog tune can no longer "sort" the frequencys but with the small digital boxes placed on each set, normal cable splitting works fine. Just remember the splitter needs to be new enough to carry the frequency.

Path: wall >splitter >each TVs digital box >respective TV See how that works

Hi my Son has upgraded his old tv in bedroom to a Bush smart tv model no DLED32287HDCNTDFVP. I installed the channels first time. I have freeview channels except I cannot get the Sky channel to show?

When you say you have freeview channels, and then say you cannot get Sky channels this is not enough information that you have provided, but
I presuming in addition to freeview channels you also have a Sky Satalite receiver which is no longer connected to your Tv or your sons tv Either way Sky satalite have 2/4 lines which means you can have four viewings providing multi rooms is bought from sky, and additional boxes are fitted.
Or you can have 1 sky box main Tv and no the spare cable feed at the back of the sky box you can feed another cable to another tv from that same box but it will be same channels But you can now change channels using magic eye receivers etc, in any room.

But the question I believe is you had freeview but no long can receive sky channels the information is a little vague but hopefully I have helped a little

How do I get sky from my set top box to work in a different room, I am trying to get my sky to work on a TV in a different room ? I have wired up TV coax cable from my sky box in sitting room and run

Hi Jim,
Here In my place in India, you can attach only one tv to the sky set top box. That too with AV cables. The program or channel changing is done by box only. The tv works as a monitor and has no role in program selection. You can attach a second tv to the box not through antenna cable but through AV cables only. That too if the box is having second set of output sockets. In that case both the TVs will receive the same programmes. To watch different programmes on the second tv you will have to go for an additional box.

TV link not working with my LG 50PH660V 50-inch Widescreen 1080p Full HD 3D Smart Plasma TV with Freeview HD/600Hz. I connected coax cable to my Sky Box, switching on the RF on, but I can not get it w

Hi Jim, your nearly there, all you need to do is go into the tv menu and move from DTV to the old type channel numbers and then find the bit where you can manually tune the tv to channel 68.
Have a sky menu picture running and you will see it come in.

We have the 27 inch 1080p (Model HSG 1075). We are with Suddenlink as our service provider who recently went to digital programming. However, we are now having problems with the channels display, which...

Hi - My name is Tina and I am with Suddenlink. Are you receiving your channels over the air (without a cable box)? If so, that is the way they are broadcast over the air in digital/high definition from the broadcasters and without converting them (with a cable box) there isn't anything that can be done to fix this issue. If you add a cable box to your set, then the box can convert the channels without the dashes. Plase feel free to contact me directly at tina-AT-suddenlink-DOT-com for further assistance. Thank you.

How can I extend my humax freesat box into another room using coaxial cable

my suggestion, come out of the box with a splicer cable a small 6 inch piece is enough. Get a high quality cable splitter such of what the Cable guys would use, you can buy them at a hardware store. Note that you can get more than a 2 way splitter however the more you split the lower the quality at the other end,. Anyway you split the cable after your cable splitter 1 to the tv, and take the other one which ever room you want.

I have anrca hdtv model # R56WH76 and I don't know how to set it up with my cable. I have the dish network box in the living room but this rca tv i have in my room with the cable coming out from the...

To watch Dish Network in your room there a couple of different ways to do it. Unless that cable coming out of your wall is connected to a Dishnetwork reciever its useless. Now if the reciever in your living room is a dual tuner dvr than you can run a cable from one of the two outputs to your bedroom. In this scenario you can watch different channels at the same time. If it isnt a dual tuner then you can actually put a splitter on the cable coming out of the box to the tv(has to be on cable coming out of the reciever) and run it to your bedroom. In this scenario both tvs will show the same channel. In both cases you need a UHF remote(dual tuner DVRs come with one UHF and one infrared) that will allow you to change channels while in your bedroom. If you want HD programing on both tvs you will need to contact Dish Network to get a second reciever. its $7 more a month for a second reciever.

Setting up a new TV

you will receive upwards to 150 channels (depends on how the tv is designed) you will not receive all the channels which you receive on the tv which has the "box". You will need an addtional box if you want to receive essentially any 200 or above channel.
Hope this helps

DTV converter box

Buy a hdtv antenna to autoscan program channels which should bring in a lot more then reconnect with the older antenna afterwards and if you're still not getting all the channels then each source needs a strong hdtv antenna that can be adjusted manually.

RF module related to Direct TV.

yes you can but the 2nd tv wont be in HD. The modulator can be purchased for any electronics store. what it does is turns a composite video signal (yellow, red, white cables) into a coax (screw in cable). it has an composite input that you would connect from the receiver and a coax output that you would connect to the other bedroom tv.

Should be controllng one box. is controlling 2 boxes

Unfortunately, there is no solution for this issue.  The remote control sends out an infrared signal, which can be picked up as far as 40' away from the device.  And to make things worse, the signal will reflect off any surface such as glass, mirrors, or even brightly painted walls.
The only way to solve the problem is to block the path of the beam to the other room.  This may require closing a door or drawing heavy drapes closed.
