SOURCE: Frigidaire PLD3465REC dishwasher error??
Hi, I am having the same problem you describe above with the model nr PLD3460RDC1. Were you able to find out what it was? Thanks so much!
SOURCE: I have this code error
That will be a main control board. Also if you have a touch pad replace that also. If its more than three years do not repair but replace.

There are two springs that support the door and control the rate it falls and stops at. They are located at the base of the door. One on the left side and one on the right.
Slide the machine out. Usually held with screws directly into the underside of the counter. You may have to lower the unit by turning the feet. Most of the time you can just slide it out.
Look on the sides and you will see the springs. One or both will have come off. They should be hooked to a slot in the door hinge and the other end to a hole in the frame of the unit.
Over time they can become over stretched. If you put them back and the door drops too quickly and stops with a jar then replace the springs. Spring are springs so you can get them at a hardware store or parts supplier.
Hope this helps. Please rate this answer if it helps you.

FREE FIX!! Before you do anything else try this....
Blinking display with "ER S" on this model is a "keypad error" NOT a control board error. It occurrs when a button on the keypad is "stuck" for more than a minute most likely from being corroded - which can happen when the steam accumulates on the underside of the counter and drops down onto keypad (an apparent design flaw which frigidaire will do nothing about) - all the techs I've talked to recommend replaceing the entire plastic keypad assembly (oem part cost $125 at my local store). But they sell just the switch that is glued into the assembly for 16$ at www.repairclinic.com and it is a thin plastic film with electronic circuits running through it. Before you buy it though, turn power off at breaker, then try gently prying the keypad switch cover (the strip with the buttons on it) off of the top of the door panel (It is stuck down with a double sided clear tacky strip - I did it with a thin butter knife) and cleaning off any corrosion on underside of strip and on switch. Gently replace the keypad cover strip and press down around the edges gently. Then turning power back on to machine and see if that fixes it - worked for me - FREE!!! Worth trying before you call out a tech
Good Afternoon Delia Collins, thank you for your post!
Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire dishwasher is flashing an "ER" error code on the panel. Typically, the "ER" stands for an error code sometimes to help clear out a false error code you can perform a reset on your dishwasher. In order to do that you would need to disconnect power from your dishwasher for approximately ten minutes.
If you continue to experience an issue with the error code I would recommend contacting a technician for proper repairs. The technician will be able to properly diagnosis your dishwasher and this will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt
Good Morning Jimpat Holmes, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that you are having an error code "ER" displayed on the panel of your Frigidaire dishwasher. Normally, "ER" stands for error code and that can be a miscommunication within the board. I would perform a reset on your dishwasher and you can do that by disconnecting power from your dishwasher for ten minutes. If you continue to receive an error code you could be experiencing an issue within the control panel or faulty wiring harness. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
Thank you for your post, friend!
I see you are having trouble with your Frigidaire dishwasher and you are receiving error code "5". However, it appears "5" is an invalid error code. May I have you model number please? Typically you can locate your serial tag on the inside wall on the left hand side. With this information I can better assist you with pinpointing the issue.
In the meantime, let's attempt resetting your dishwasher. You can do this by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position for roughly ten minutes. This usually clears false error codes. -Matt
Hello - Typically the "ER" code displayed on your unit does typically indicate a shorted out control panel. This can happen by excess moisture getting into the control area. Let the unit dry for 24 hours with no use, and see if the display error code erases itself. If it does not, this unit will require the repair of a professional to move forward accurately.
