Margaritaville dm0500 will not blend ice and ingredients together. Shaves ice just fine, just won't blend together properly. Blender looks like it is working and makes noise like normal.

I have the Margaritaville Bali DM3500 and the motor has gone out on the self Serv section What is the part number and how do I order a new one ?

The part you are looking for is called the Ice Melt Reservoir. It collects the water from the melting ice left in the Ice Reservoir.

When mine did that I just put in less ice the next time and I experimented to see how much liquid to add. Once I did the 2nd and 3rd batches of drinks I got the hang of it.

Ice floats, if you want to add more ice pour almost all of it out into separate container, add ice to remaining mixture and blend.

On my machine (DM1000) there is a kill switch on the top & back of the ice reservoir. If that gets broken/misaligned the shaver will not activate.
