It is behind the drum
you need to open the top cover
take the control panel out
open the front cover (with the door)
take the drum out (disconnect the belt from the motor pully . on the bottom)
you can see the heat element but check the fuses first on the heat element they might go bad and not the heat element wiche is :Number:131553900 on sears parts

Replace Zanussi ZWD12270W faulty dryer heating element

Just for the record, the heating element went on mine too and I'd only used it less than half a dozen times. The engineer said that it went because it hadn't been used enough (it gets moisture inside somewhere). He said if I didn't use it I would have the same problem after it had been replaced. So make sure you dry something every couple of weeks (he said at least once a month).

Hello - Sounds like the element or the control board to the element is not communicating correctly. I would have a professional diagnose the element first. You may only need to replace it. Otherwise it could be the control board not allowing the element to heat up properly, a faulty mechanical thermostat or an oven sensor.

Dishes come out all wet. Maybe the heating element but would there be any other potential?

You are right -almost-. When the heating element is not working properly and dishes doesn't dry, I don't think the heating element went bad. It's more likely that other part is causing the problem. Perhaps the timer went bad.

When the timer is broken, the heating element doesn't get power to dry the dishes. By the way, the timer are also called electronic controls or control panel. I believe it needs to be replaced.
