first go get belt at dealer bring it home rout it over the old belt then you no how to put it on remove old belt make sure belts or the same size replce belt

Check the pully alignments with a straight edge. Make sure the belt is tight.

In case anyone has a 2014 Cub Cadet LTX 1050 KW and needs to know where the damned spring goes when it falls off when removing the belt keeper, here's a photo.

The deck belt is 144959 which is 1/2" X 95" and the drive belt is 140294 which 1/2' X 82", and can be found on amazon, here 1 2 95 Premium Belt Craftsman Poulan Ayp Husqvarna Replacement Belt 144959.... I hope this was helpful. cheers

Without the model number, I couldn't tell you what belt goes on the ground drive. That 174883 is a 5/8 x 97" and is your deck drive belt. Your ground drive belt may just need replacing. They will wear thin and loosen up between the pulleys and cause the problems you're having. The old belt may still have the numbers on it.
