Copy worksheet data to a PowerPoint presentation

  1. In Excel, select the worksheet data that you want to copy to a PowerPoint presentation.
  2. On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click Copy I want to copy an Excel chart as a Image onto a - za006044679.gif.

Keyboard shortcut You can also press CTRL+C.

  1. Click in the PowerPoint presentation where you want to paste the copied worksheet data.
  2. On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click Paste.

Keyboard shortcut You can also press CTRL+V.
Click Paste Options za006043532.gif next to the data, and then do one of the following:

  • To use the original format of the copied data, click Keep Source Formatting.
  • To use the document theme that is applied to the PowerPoint presentation, click Use Destination Theme.
  • To paste table data that you copied as text, click Keep Text Only.

Notes

  • If you don't see I want to copy an Excel chart as a Image onto a - za010077102.giftions button, you may have to turn it on. Click the Microsoft Office Button za010077102.gif, and then click PowerPoint Options. In the Advanced category, under Cut, Copy, and Paste, select the Show Paste Options buttons check box.
  • If you paste the data into a PowerPoint table, the Paste Options button is not displayed.
Tips
  • To paste the data in another format (such as a worksheet object, HTML format, bitmap, picture, or to text format) or to paste a link to the source data in Excel, on the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click the arrow on the Paste button, and then click Paste Special. In the As list, click the format that you want to use.
    • If you want to edit the entire worksheet later, click Microsoft Office Excel Worksheet Object. Clicking Microsoft Office Excel Worksheet Object provides access to the entire worksheet in the presentation, including data that you may want to keep private. To automatically update the table in the presentation when changes are made to the source data in Excel, click Paste link. Both of these options also preserve the Excel formatting, even when the formatting features that are used are not supported in PowerPoint. If you saved the source workbook before you copied the data, you can also click Attach Hyperlink to insert a hyperlink in your presentation that directs you to the source data in Excel.
    • To paste the content as an Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) (OLE: A program-integration technology that you can use to share information between programs. All Office programs support OLE, so you can share information through linked and embedded objects.) PowerPoint application icon (rather than pasting the actual content), click Microsoft Office Excel Worksheet Object, and then select the Display as icon check box. You can click the icon to open the application and then view the content.
    • If you want to use HTML to copy the data to PowerPoint into a PowerPoint table, click HTML format.
    • To paste a static picture, click Device Independent Bitmap or Bitmap, or to paste a picture that can be ungrouped, click Picture (Enhanced Metafile) or Picture (Windows Metafile).
    • To paste the data as formatted or unformatted text, click Formatted Text (RTF) or Unformatted Text.
  • To paste the data as a hyperlink that directs you to the source data in Excel, click the arrow on the Paste button, and then click Paste As Hyperlink. If the workbook that contains the source data has not been saved yet, this option is unavailable.
  • If you want the range of data that you paste as a Microsoft Excel Worksheet Object into a PowerPoint presentation to expand when the corresponding data expands on the Excel worksheet, you can define a name (name: A word or string of characters that represents a cell, range of cells, formula, or constant value. Use easy-to-understand names, such as Products, to refer to hard to understand ranges, such as Sales!C20:C30.) for the range of data in Excel before you copy the data. You can then paste a link to the named range by using the Paste Special command. On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click the arrow on the Paste button, click Paste Special, and then click Paste link. This works only when you copy data that is not in table format in Excel.

I want office 2010 product key

Orce, If you don't have the key because you don't have a legal copy of MS Office, then your best solution is to get a FREE copy of Apache OpenOffice.
This is compatible with Microsoft Office suites, and Apache OpenOffice is free to download, use, and distribute. It does everything that MS Office does in similar ways, and includes equivalents for Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint.
Goto
http://www.openoffice.org/product/index.html
If you have a legal copy of MS Office then
The Product key is on a label stuck onto the back of the box, or inside on the leaflet, or on the back of the sleeve for the disk(s)
If the product key is lost, contact Microsoft support as they may be able to help. If it has been registered with Microsoft already they can usually recover your key.

How to make power presentatio?

  • If Office PowerPoint 2007 is already running, save and close any open presentations, and then exit and restart PowerPoint 2007.

Find links to information about saving presentations in the See Also section.

  • If Office PowerPoint 2007 isn't already running, start it now.
In the Slide pane, you can work directly on individual slides. za001093949.gif Dotted borders identify placeholders, where you can type text or insert pictures, charts, and other objects. za001093950.gif The Slides tab shows a thumbnail version of each full size slide shown in the Slide pane. After you add other slides, you can click a thumbnail on the Slides tab to make the slide appear in the Slide pane. Or you can drag thumbnails to rearrange the slides in your presentation. You can also add or delete slides on the Slides tab. za001093951.gif In the Notes pane, you can type notes about the current slide. You can hand out your notes to your audience or refer to your notes in Presenter view when you give your presentation. Note By default, Office PowerPoint 2007 applies the Blank Presentation template, which appears in the preceding illustration, to new presentations. Blank Presentation is the simplest and most generic of the templates in Office PowerPoint 2007. Blank Presentation is a good template to use when you first start working with PowerPoint because it is straightforward and can be adapted to many presentation types. To create a new presentation that is based on the Blank Presentation template, click the Microsoft Office Button za010077102.gif, click New, click Blank and recent under Templates, and then double-click Blank Presentation under Blank and recent.
After you open the Blank Presentation template, only a small portion of the Notes pane is visible. To see a larger portion of the Notes pane so that you have more room to type in it, do the following:
  1. Point to the top border of the Notes pane.
  2. When the pointer becomes a za010205206.gif, drag the border up to make a little more room for your speaker notes, as shown in the following illustration.

Name and save your presentation As with any software program, it is a good idea to name and save your presentation right away and then to save your changes frequently while you work:
  1. Click the Microsoft Office Button za010077102.gif, point to Save As, and then do one of the following:
    • For a presentation that can be opened only in Office PowerPoint 2007, click PowerPoint Presentation.
    • For a presentation that can be opened in either Office PowerPoint 2007 or earlier versions of PowerPoint, click PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation.

If you choose this option, you cannot use any of the features that are new in Office PowerPoint 2007.

  1. In the Save As dialog box, in the Save in list, select the folder or other location where you want to save your presentation.
  2. In the File name box, type a name for your presentation, or do nothing to accept the default file name, and then click Save.

Add, rearrange, and delete slides The single slide that is provided automatically in your presentation has two placeholders, one formatted for a title and the other formatted for a subtitle. The arrangement of placeholders on a slide is called a layout. Office PowerPoint 2007 also provides other types of placeholders, such as those for pictures and SmartArt graphics.
When you add a slide to your presentation, you can do the following to choose a layout for the new slide at the same time:
  1. On the Slides tab, click just below the single slide that already appears there.
  2. On the Home tab, in the Slides group, click the arrow next to New Slide.

za001093948.gif The name identifies the content that each layout is designed for. za001093949.gif Placeholders that display colored icons can contain text, but you can also click the icons to automatically insert objects, including SmartArt graphics and clip art.
  1. Click the layout that you want for your new slide.

The new slide now appears both on the Slides tab, where it is highlighted as the current slide, and in the Slide pane. Repeat this procedure for each new slide that you want to add.

Tip If you want your new slide to have the same layout that the preceding slide has, you can just click New Slide instead of clicking the arrow next to it.

I need help with microsoft office 2007

The resolution appears to be two fold,

First of all you might want to add the following registry key depending on the application for which the user gets a prompt:
Click on Start Run then type in the following command for respective applications.
    reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\<application>\Options /v NoReReg /t REG_DWORD /d 1 For Ex:
    reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Options /v NoReReg /t REG_DWORD /d 1
    reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Excel\Options /v NoReReg /t REG_DWORD /d 1
    reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Options /v NoReReg /t REG_DWORD /d 1
    reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\PowerPoint\Options /v NoReReg /t REG_DWORD /d 1.
This should normally take care of the issue in applications like Outlook ,Word and Power point .

The user might also get a secondary error message when opening Excel application that states the following. stdole32.bmp

Note: Opening excel in the application safe mode would bypass the error. But this could be misleading coz the issue has more to do with permission than add-in within the application.

To resolve this problem you would need to perform the following steps:

    1) Go to start > run > regedit

    2) Navigate to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > Excel.Chart.8

    3) Right Click on key and select Permissions

    4) In the Permission windows > Click on Add Tab and add everyone

    5) Once this is done Click on the Advanced Tab > Owner > Highlight Everyone > Click on Apply and Ok

    6) In the Permission > Select Everyone > enable the check box for Full Control and Read, then Click on Apply and Ok.

    7) Click on F5 to refresh, this should create a new Sub key below Excel.Chart.8 called Protocol > Right Click on the key and repeat step 3 – 5.

    8) Refresh again and follow the same sequence of steps to add permission to the following Sub keys StdFileEditing >Server.

    9) Close the registry editor.

This should resolve the issue for good.
