70 rear projection jvc no picture and bulb ok

Hello, remove the lamp and make sure it didn't go bad. If it's ok the a color wheel or fan would be my next guess, but check the lamp first, I see cheaper lamps that don't match up correctly fail early. let me know what you find...tks

I have a JVC-HD projection TV model 56G786 and all of a sudden it will not power on. When you try to turn it on the blue light on the power button goes on but after a few seconds it starts flashing and...

Hi,

The JVC 56G786 users manual will not give you a clear or specific answer about confirming bulb failure with the LED lamp or power indicators located on the front of the TV.

If the TV was operating normally for an extended period of time (months or years) and will not start, the problem is almost always bulb failure. If the "Lamp Replacement" warning previously appeared "On-Screen" and the TV will not start, bulb has failed.

The first step in a "no picture" situation with a JVC LCD Rear Projection TV is bulb replacement. There is no way to measure the bulb. Sometimes the bulb is visibly broken or damaged when it fails. Remove the lamp cage and have a look.

The JVC Lamp Gallery has all the JVC models and lamp numbers listed. There is also a link to DIY JVC bulb and lamp installation.

If a good bulb is installed correctly and the TV still does not start, you need a technician. There are no user serviceable parts other than the bulb. Failure of ballasts, power supply boards or controller boards is rare in these TVs.

I need to replace the bulb and ballast in my jvc HD-52Z575 52 in rear projection hdtv-ready televvision. i need to know the part numbers and need to know where they are! I have no manual and would like to...

The parts diagram for the JVC HD-52Z575 is available here: https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model-number/HD-52Z575/1758/0333200.html . The lamp is part TS-CL110UAA. I don't see a separate ballast. If you look at the parts list for the cabinet, a Service manual is available.

I hope this helps.

61 inch projection tv flashing on and off

The most common problem with JVC LCD rear projection TV is bulb failure. Do not panic, this is normal after 2-5 years of use.

You can change the complete assembly or for less cost just change the bulb. Do not use Osram or other funny brand "rebuilt" or locally made bulb. Use a Philips replacement and all should be good.

Changing the bulb involves removing the lamp assembly and taking it apart like a puzzle and replacing the bulb. JVC are a little more difficult to do than most others because the wires on the original bulb are molded into the glass on the original bulb. Wires must be cut and stripped of insulation before connecting to the new bulb.

All JVC LCD Rear projections TVs use TSCL110 TSCL110U TS-CL110U Lamps.

Check this out for all JVC models to identify the lamp and bulb. JVC Gallery.

Rapid blinking light (lamp) on a JVC model HD

It normally means the lamp is in need of being replaced, and its all depending on the use of the TV as well as how long the lamp life is. You should be able to access the lamp via a small section near the rear or the back of the TV unit, if the lamp is blown or faulty it will look the same as a blown light globe.
To obtain a new lamp contact the brands authorised repair agent as they will be able to get trade prices and in turn, give you the best price,
Also make sure that whoever replaces the lamp resets the lamp use time as the TV will still not start if you don't reset the lamp use time as it will still think it has a faulty lamp. I hope this helps, good luck.

Have lamp message in JVC HD-52Z585 to replace lamp #TS-CL110U.

I would, it's cheaper than replacing the whole TV and you can do it yourself so no labor bill. The new lamp usually comes with directions and in my experience the JVC lamps are outlasting some of the other ones.
