KLH SUBWOOFER WILL NOT WORK AFTER HOOK-UP TO YAMAHA HTR5930 AV RECEIVER WITH SUBWOOFER OUT PUT PLUG
Had the same problem with KLH E-10D Preamped Subwoofer. Afte brief research, I found the problem was with my Pioneer VSX-D509S reciever settings, not the subwoofer. If you have the same reciever, you can go to the pioneer website to download specific model owner's manuals.

Select your Pioneer reciever model and it will give you an option to download the pdf manual. Hope this helps.
Is sub out turned on on the reciever? Some have a setting that doesnt use the sub out, like 2 channel.
If it's the Pioneer receiver that's at fault, I can give you guidance on that. You should have a Muti In jack or Direct Input jack on the back, and a button that turns this feature on. Please let me know if you have this. You will need a DVD player with Analog outputs to move to the next step. For additional information, you may contact me through my website, audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.
