How to remove aggitator from center of machine to clean inside of it, there seems to be little bits of whatever coming from there its a whirlpool super capacity plus 8255e commercial quality

you will have to remove plastic nut at top of aggitator to be able to raise the aggitator out of the tub hope this helps

My Whirlpool WTW6600 had the same problem. The tub no longer floated up and down on the center shaft, so it only spun, not agitated. You must remove the tub (with some effort) and lightly sand / clean the center shaft. Lube it lightly with wheel bearing grease so that after it is reassembled, you can pull the tub upward and feel about 1/2" movement. This will enable the proper gear assembly to engage. It can spin when it rests at the bottom of its travel, but once you fill the tub, it floats, moving upward, and engaging the agitation gear. Good Luck!

You need to clean the filter.
Remove lower rear panel of washer.
Locate and remove large black hose fastened to bottom of drum.
Remove and clean filter inside hose.
Reassemble and test.

Your agitator dogs are worn out.
Remove the agitator and replace the 4 little rubber dogs.
Snap the top off. Remove the bolt inside. Pull up on the top part and access the dogs.

Possibly a belt issue take the top cover off of the agitator and remove the bolt that holds it down. There will be gears inside if any of these parts are broken this will also cause it not to agitate. Let me know

if it make noise like a train coming in on track,,,bad tub bearing,,,do you see any water leaks back there ..on the back tub or on the base of unit...if so seal damage,,

is the main agitator not moving or just the top section? If its jsut the top section you need to buy agitator dogs. They are around 6 bucks and are easy to install. Just take the top cap off the agitator and remove the 7/16 bolt inside and then remove the top piece of the agitator. You will see from there how the part is replaced.

Go under the aggitator inside the tub and pull out the aggitator it self and check out see if the teeth are strip,If the teeth are strip on the aggitator replace it. If is on the other side then it's not worth repairing. All you need to do is just pull on the aggitor from the bottom.
