I have lg kE 970 mobile phone and i live in ethiopia, i try to configure my phone gprs with my region's network i used my sim on my previous nokia phone but can't on my new lg ke 970 phone please i need an assistance.

Best call your network provider and see if they can send you configuration settings..

It is not possible to get the codes for ke 970 easily.first i want you to go through the manual click HERE and see if you find any network unlock codes(probably not possible but give it a try).

You can buy the unlock codes of it fro HERE and that is the only solution to unlock it.

check the GPRS connection settings with your network service provider.
because each mobile phone has its own connection settings, if you are able to call carrier customer service then you should ask them to send you configuration settings via sms according to your mobile model.

Then they should send you the settings and once you receive that sms, you should save them into your device then restart it and try again connecting.

try finding the network on manually settings, i that does not work look at the box and located what band the phone uses.....

Im using china Blutooth y690 & have airtel sim but it does'nt accept the settings of airtel live pls tell me how to configure settings mannually the phone has two menus i.e. wap profile & data setting

go to your phone provider because they will provide configuration on it like IP Address and likes

The_Wise23 - delete and try reinstalling your lg usb modem if that does not work call your provider and see if they can assist you more.

chinesebox - the best thing to do is uninstall all lg software and then reinstall it.

for all other users un-install then reinstall

be sure that gprs and mms setting of your cellphone is properly configured. and also, gprs and mms is activated by your network.
