No, the door is foamed together.
Remove small drip catch at bottom of dispenser area. Use silicone to seal recess along front edge and the two front corners. That should prevent water from getting under the door trim.

How to fix water leak on GE Profile Refrigerator

Hi,

I would look at the dispenser door for the ice (ice chute) I have seen this door not completely close and cause leaking the you are describing. This door is has a black seal, use a flashlight, from the inside of the freezer door, look for light on the outside of the door. I think you leak is there and replace the solenoid for the door to fix this issue. Good Luck, if you want more help please input a model number. Thanks

GE Side By Side Ice Machine & Water dispenser not getting water

you may have a pin hole in your water line to your dispenser or you could be leaking at the water valve itself on the water dispenser side. you'll have to pull the refrigerator out from the wall and look where the main water line goes into the back of the refrigerator. you will probably have to take the back off to see. be sure you put the back of the refrigerator back when you are through.

Not getting water from dispenser in door

The connector that is leaking is bad causing tubing to come out and leak. The reason it won't flow is it is iced up inside of the door and no, unfortunately, you can't disassemble the door to get to it. It requires a door replacement. The connector is part number WR02X10471 from www.geappliances.com or GE Factory Service Parts at 1-800-626-2002

Leak running down front

Take the recess cup out and seal the area around it right where the front stainless steel panel meets the recess (right at the front of the recess) with clear silicone to prevent water from getting inside the door, then running out of the plastic frame area around the dispenser and running down the freezer door or out the bottom of the door. After the silicone has set, replace drip cup.

GE Profile side by side refrigerator-freezer PSC23SGNABS

Hi sckk,
ngafm at your service,

Your indoor ice and water keeps getting iced up.
There is an air leak somewhere between the ice and water dispenser on the door and the freezer!
there are many places that this may be. But usually the spring loaded door where the ice drops out to the door ice machine!
It takes a good tech sometimes a couple visits changing a couple of parts till he gets it.
There is no sure fire way to diagnose which part is the culprit thats leaking air.You need an experienced tech that eyeballs it and knows what parts to choose first to be replaced.
The air leak almost microscopic to the eye.
Sometimes you take ice from the door and the crack only closes full some time after wards. Then the tech comes the next day and sees nothing. Or it is intermittent problem!

My advice is only a trained tech can remedy this problem, this time!
If I were there I'm sure I could nail it down!

You need hands on service!
Bless You ,
ngafm,
please give me a goo rating before you sign off.
Thank you.

Water leaking - GE Profile Refrigerator, Model: TPX21PRX

Check to see if the drain at the bottom of your freezer is plugged. When the refrigerator goes on defrost, the water has to go somewhere. Look below the coils in the freezer section and see if there is ice in the drain.
