Hi our daughter gave us her mitsubishi diva tv, but she couldn`t find the manual it has a recording part and also a small screen part where you can have another ch. on. she is unable to show us how these features work any help would be appreciated thank you.

Put into the phone SD card (some call it "memory card", small black one) with recorded music on it. Than follow the steps:
1. Open "Menu" and go to the "Organizer"
2. Scroll down to "File manager" and open it
3. Choose "Memory card" and open it
4. Scroll down to the "Sounds" (and choose what you like)
5. Press "Option" (down-left screen corner) and press "Use as"
6. Click on "Incoming call" and than press "Select"
On the screenplay will be "Done". And that's it !

All you have to do is turn the TV on and turn to a channel that doesn't prompt the V-chip password (even if it's snowy) and hold down the volume (down -) button on the main unit while holding down the number "0" on the remote control. It might take a few tries, and you might need to change the TV channel for some reason but if done correctly, either the TV will turn off, or the menu screen will pop up and ask if you want to set the vchip password, either way you should be able to watch your TV now! :)

Nope, the good news is that it is NOT a Tube problem! From your description, it looks more like a Cold solder in the Vertical Output stages (80% probability. Another possibility is dried out Electrolytic Capacitors in the same stages, or in the Power supply Line to the Vertical Output Stage. Nothing you can do, unless you know solid state electronics. Better get a good Technecian to have a look. he will locate the Cold solder quickly enough, and do a resolder.

Hi Jaco, Have you fed in your Antenna / cable into the Rear of the VCR? And if your VCR has a Input selection switch, just check input to Tuner. You will get Blue screen if input selction is not Tuner but Camera / External source. If this does not solve your problem, then there is no Input selection happening.
