I have a bosch Exxcel slimline, nearly three years old. Last night it ran all night on a 119 minute programm. It was stuck on 1 minute. Now I acnt get it to start on any programme. It starts up ok nut the timer doesn't advance at all! I checked the pump, that's ok and cleaned out the food filters, reloaded salt and rinse aid.

this is caused by incorrect water levels the appliance takes in too little water at final rinse and generates erro code 1 this is what you are getting it isnt 1 minute to go it will need the dishwasher equivalent of colonic irrigation several tubes will be full of fatty deposits, using the quick wash a lot will make this happen more often you will need an engineer to sort but shouldnt need any parts.
The control board on these units is prone to a cold solder joint cracking. I have read that Bosch recommends replacement and will supply the board, not covering labor. I repaired mine prior and have done one for a friend as well. Has lasted several years and counting The symptom is constant cycling without ticking down the last few minutes
Disconnect power from unit. Disconnect ground. Reconnect ground and make sure it is a good ground check hot and nutural to ground and should be line (110 to 120 V) on line (Black to bare) and 0-4 (with a electronic Volt Ohm Meter) White to bare. And again 110 to 120V from Black to White. Reconnect and if ground is stripped make new ground point with new screw. Modern electronics is required to have a good ground and without one readings like yours can freeze. If this dosnt work the board going to the display is most likely broken.
When replacing the board always ground your self before removing the board from the box and plastic bag. This will drain off and static buildup and prevent discharge across the board. (not as much a problem in humid or warm weather).
