Can't get my Panasonic dmp bd84 to connect to the internet. It will only do it with it connected to the internet box. Help please..

Probably a bad wifi card in the unit itself. If there are available USB ports, get a USB WIFI dongle and use it.
You can get one from ebay.

Hi, I cannot connect to the internet although my internet connection is fine, I can connect with a a inthenet cable, and I have rebooted etc.. can you help please, Dave. Model no Acer Aspire E1-571

Make sure that the wi fi adapter/chip is working. Go into device manager and uninstall it and reboot. If still n connection and you are sure that your network is up and running try using another external wi fi adapter on the premise that your existing unit is bogus.

Cant open mirosoft website

When you open your browser and it cannot load the web page that means there is no internet connection... if there is... then the connection is not stable..

Try this, could help you stabilize your connection...On the top of your web browser, on the File menu , uncheck the "Work Offline"...........If you are using a wireless internet connection.. disable the firewall setting of your windows so that windows will allow the connection of internet and will not be strict...If you are using a broadband router make sure it is receiving high signal... and make sure to keep away the unit 1 meter from any live wiring or wall outlet..

I hope that solve your connection issues..

Much appreciated if you rate this help..thanks..

Well... This is a question with a very broad base for answers.

You can either connect your unit to the internet by way of an ethernet cable connection or by wireless. (Which your model has as a built-in feature.)

You'll of course need a high-speed internet connection and a wireless router. All you should have to do is connect the ethernet cable from the unit to the router.

If you would like to connect by wireless, use the PS3 to locate wireless access points in your local area, find your router and connect to it. I recommend using wireless security of course...

Not sure how else to really answer your question. Let us know if you need more specific instructions here. Please be more specific if you need help with something in particular during the process.

Internet connection problems using the BEFW11S4

If you are having problems connecting to the Internet, follow the following steps: 1. Internet service: Check with your Internet Service Provider to make sure that service is active. You usually can determine a good link to the service if you can bypass the BEFW11S4, plug directly into the ISP modem unit, and get a good connection. This will narrow the issue down to either the service, or the router. 2. Network cables: Verify that the network cables that connect the network together are plugged into the current ports as they should (modem into the WAN/Internet port, computers into 1, 2, 3, or 4). Also try to change some or all of the network cables that attach to devices coming from the BEFW11S4. You may have bad cables. 3. Router configuration: Your router may not be configured to use your Internet service properly. While plugged into your provider?s modem and able to get online, run the bundled Router Setup Wizard CD-ROM program that came with your router. This will configure the router automatically for you. Note: this program must be executed on the main computer when plugged directly into the providers modem unit and able to get on the Internet 4. Manual configuration: If the Setup Wizard CD-ROM from Step 2 fails to configure your router, you may need a manual configuration. While plugged into the provider modem unit and able to get online, visit http://kb.linksys.com, and search for the name of your Internet service provider for detailed instructions on manual configurations. 5. Router firmware: Upgrade your router to the latest firmware version. Please go to http://www.linksys.com/download to download the latest version of firmware for your product. After the upgrade, be sure to reset the router, by holding in the router?s reset button for 30 seconds and reconfiguring it for use with your service (Step 3 or Step 4). 6. Malfunctioning equipment: You may have a faulty network adapter, or a bad router. Please contact Linksys Technical Support for further assistance.
